Yeah.......That Asian Haze is good, but I don't know why it's that good. It has frost and lots of sugar leaves, it's not stacked. It's just well covered.
I gotta take a shower to kinda get back a little.more. Gotta go get some stuff.
That was pretty interesting!
Being a Sativa it will be a connoisseurs smoke, it is also an extract, concentrated goodness and seeing as it is a tropical Sativa, there is a high likelihood it contains THC-V (tetrahydrocannabivarin). It is known to produce a more motivated, alert and energizing feeling of euphoria.

Medical benefits - THCV is analgesic and anti-inflammatory, it's neuroprotective, which means it protects the nervous system. It's anti-nausea and vomiting. It helps with bone health and bone formation, it's sleep-promoting, it's anti-epileptic, it's anti-anxiety. It's a major anti-psychotic.
Diabetes
- Slightly higher doses of THCV between 10 to 20 milligrams have been found to assist in the regulation of blood sugar levels and can reduce the body’s resistance to insulin – a finding that makes the compound of interest as a novel treatment for diabetes.
Another well-documented research area for THCV is its potential to act as a powerful anti-inflammatory agent.
Seizure prevention
is a hot spot for research associated with many of the most prominent cannabinoids, such as THC and CBD. Naturally then, THCV has also been investigated as a potentially useful anticonvulsant medication.

Vaping - THCV's boiling point is a whopping 428 degrees Fahrenheit (220℃)—a full 114 degrees Fahrenheit (45.5℃) higher than THC.

Strength & Quantity - THCV can induce a psychotropic effect, meaning that it can get you high. However, you will need to consume relatively high quantities of THCV before you feel any intoxicating effects. By and large, THC is still the most psychotropic cannabinoid, and the one largely responsible for the infamous high of cannabis. Vaping THCV laden rosin in high doses will do it and get you to that psychotropic high!

THCV is playfully nicknamed the “race car” or the “sports car” of cannabinoids, as high doses reportedly give users a short-lasting but very energetic high. The compound has also been linked to a variety of other physiological effects that make it an notable prospect for medical cannabis research.

Just a few thoughts on why the high is different and a few other health tidbits thrown in for good measure.

But hold the press, have you ever heard of THCP & CBDP?
The Italian Ministry of Health gave the authorization to study the FM2 cannabis strain which led to the discovery of THCP. This variety was produced by the Military Chemical Pharmaceutical Institute of Florence.

Although THCP is supposedly '30 times more potent' than THC, we still do not know if this means that it is more psychoactive or makes you '30 times higher'. But tests on mice have proved that THCP is more active than THC at lower doses (at approximately half the dose).

It is still early days for being able to understand what this really means in the great scheme of cannabis science, but THCP's discovery could help explain the puzzling pharmacological properties of certain cannabis strains that could not previously be attributed to the presence of THC alone.

Seems we still have plenty to learn from our favorite plants and who knows in a few years time we will have THCP rich strains, where only a pinch is needed to get you high?!

Help!! I plan on doing a photo run but i only have regular seeds, not fem. So, i need to weed out the males but dont know how to do so earlier than flowering them all. Anyone have suggestions for any companies that test the sex of the plants? Thanks and sorry its not auto related haha

This is what a knife and no artistic ability produces

The kids are asking to do pumpkins now too and I'm now remembering why I haven't done them in years. They're definitely not using power tools but tbh I also really don't trust them with knives either lmfao. My kids inherited my ridiculously accident proneness so I can only imagine it will end up in a ER trip. Maybe this year though, idk. #2 needed stitches a couple years ago when he sneezed while standing at the counter doing homework. He smashed his face into the edge of the counter and split his eyebrow clear open.

Halloween may be fun and scary in equal measure but you must never, ever touch or play with ectoplasm!:rofl:

Google "painting pumpkins", still messy but a lot safer and they can do it outside if it is a nice day!

Yeah they've done painted ones before. I'm thinking maybe let them draw what they want and I'll carve it for them? Idk if that will fly but we will see lol. Doing it with the dremel is kind of addictive so I was already thinking I wouldn't mind doing it again.

Often Indica strains will show sex at around 21 days, in some cases it can be a little earlier.
Sativas may flower a few weeks later.
So how do you know if you have males?
When you are ready to flower flip to 12/12:12-12:
The very first pre-flowers show up in the crook between the main plant stalk and a fan leaf stem , usually near the top of the plant. The good news is, the males usually begin to develop and show sooner than females.

When you see the balls you know you have a male, if your not looking for a breading male, get rid of then ASAP.
You do not want to let them get to the nanner stage!
1634241856696.png

Once you see nanners, the flowers have opened and pollen could be fly all over the place, seeding your females!

But what if you don't want to get rid of your males and choose one of them to breed with?
Then taking cutting once the plant has reached sex (often around 21 days) Label the Adult plants and then label the cuttings so they match with the parent plant!
Then stick the Rooted cuttings under 12/12:12-12:
You will then see if each plant you took a cutting off of is a male or a female.
Of course you will need to kill the male cutting unless you want a pollinated grow room.
You can then move the Male plants to a separate space well away from you lady plants and then bloom the males when it suits you!
You may only require one male for the job and it is up to you to choose which male has the desirable traits, you want to use for seeding your ladies!
