I will be changing the dates for the pumpkin carving contest today.

Last day to submit a carved Pumpkin Picture will be November 1, 2021

This will allow people to use their carved pumpkin on Halloween we should have thought of this before. I claim being stoned as my excuse .

Cooking spray over all cut surfaces should help keep them from drying out, from what I read. For anyone who has already done theirs.

Yeah.......That Asian Haze is good, but I don't know why it's that good. It has frost and lots of sugar leaves, it's not stacked. It's just well covered.
I gotta take a shower to kinda get back a little.more. Gotta go get some stuff.

I really did not think about wasting a pumpkin because my wife and I carve them all month for any guests we have coming over in the month of October. Halloween is my wife's favorite holiday. She has 12 - 17 gallon storage containers of Halloween decorations. It takes her a week or more to decorate the house.

@Mossy pointed out that carving them so early is a waste - not if you ask my wife
