I was in the US, Kansas specifically, like 25 years ago. It said "MSG free!" On every menu. I was disappointed.
Welcome to AFN :welcome:. MSG is a known allergen for some people and some reactions can be life threatening. Back in the 60s restaurants were required to post it and have it on the menu if you used MSG. We took it out of all of the recipes in the family business because it was too risky. It became a fad to claim you were allergic without any real basis.

Don't troll or flame anyone and you will have fun here. After a while you will know what is considered fun and not.
