been in the low 90'z for a few dayz here in the heartland....did have a sudden hour-long t-storm blow thru yesterday tho that dumped 1.75" of rain & dropped the temp from 93 to 71 suppozed to get around 92 today, but was about 82 & decent for the walkie this morning, with a light southerly wind, so.... ppp

Today is our 20th wedding anniversary so I am taking a break from cooking and taking the wife out for a change. It is also the 12th anniversary for our retirement and move to the lake. It is bitter sweet however as it is also 6 years since the brother in law crashed his plane and perished. A lot of memories and emotions today.
