I'm going to try and build a portable smoke extractor and scrubber this weekend. I found a local pond supply place that has pelletized carbon. Looks very similar to the stuff in the premade filters. Some duct work, cheap inline duct fan, pull the smoke in and push through the pellets, then flex duct out the window.

Just get an empty toilet paper roll and a couple fabric softener sheets and mission accomplished!

Hahaha yeah been a while since I had to do that.






Hopefully this thing works good enough I can just lay in bed and not stink up the place. Also the neighbors noticed! Yikes. We've been just blowing it out the window since the weather is nice. Apparently we need to scrub it just a little.
