Sad news this morning. John Mayall, the godfather of British blues, has died at age 90. He was a monumental force in music with his innovative sound and legendary lineup of musicians like Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Mick Taylor, and Jack Bruce shaping blues history and inspired countless more artists.

On the good news side of things, I was able to bake again after hand surgery! I had a carpal tunnel release last Thursday and baked yesterday. Hand was a bit sore but not too bad.
