Medical told us that prior to pulling into Thailand on a ship I was on….

In Thailand they have these big platters of fried and salted bugs for sale on the street…. Among them crickets, grasshoppers, and big ass roaches. Apparently folks learned the hard way in the past about the allergy…


Years later I would hear the allergy thing repeated on Fear Factor… :pass:
Whenever we would travel to remote world locations to dive, no matter how careful you are you are going to have digestive problems. You never ever eat street food until all diving is over. I ate a big grub in Australia, tasted bat soup in Palau. I pretty much avoid all of the insect stuff yet I did eat some chocolate covered ants that were pretty good! I have eaten many many wild animal's meat all over the world and I don't remember getting sick from the meat but the handling more than once. I ate some tacos in Cancun and shit all the way home :eek2: to California.

Tears rolling down my cheeks, that is hilarious.
