First of all! It was a DRIZZLE of chocolate syrup! And I was making like a mole sauce and I didn’t force you to try any of it so Listen I’m pregnant with our son you be nice to me . Happy pregnant wife happy life ! I don’t ever ask for anything except a little different toppings on my food lol

I never got into pills much more then ecstasy fortunately

I never got into pills either. Though, I always saved my percs from various instances I was prescribed them for when I'd have particularly painful period cramps otc stuff doesn't touch them

You are correct on both accounts. A well balanced IPA will have first and foremost a clean malt base with good caramalt this is hopped in the boil pot and dry hopped in the keg, and if you are really lucky you get to drink some from a dedicated homebrewer that puts a refrigerator on a wave table to simulate a trip around the Horn in a ships hold. He indeed won Best of Show at the State Fair. This is when a Good IPA was about 50-60 IBU range. When you get too high IBUs you cannot taste anything else. A lot of the stuff that sells today is just retail swill IMPO.
I have to drink Gluten Free now so real IPA is just a fond memory. The Glutenburg IPA is quite decent with a nice balance that allows both hops and grains to be enjoyed.


@Suki that is why there are 11 other base styles in brewing. Lagers like a Pilsner or a Blonde Ale can be made with very subtle hops that you might find suite your flavor? Do you like Guiness?

I pretty much exclusively like sours lol gose is OK but I prefer tang to salty. Though one of the breweries here had a seawater gose that was pretty good a few years back. I also had a really tasty mango habanero hefeweisen at one of the craft beer festivals here like 7 years ago

I forgot to mention it last night but man o man what a beautiful place the new ballpark is! Apparently there are much cooler new stadiums being built but the AC was a game changer! Just before first pitch they announced it was 108 out at 7:00pm but it was 74 inside the stadium! Prob saw 1/2 dozen people being attended by paramedics in front entry of stadium cuz they weren’t prepared and were going into heatstroke going into stadium! We got lucky and had a shuttle bus pull up by our lot just as we got outta the car so i paid for them to take us to the front door!

Was also nice being able to go into the restroom and hit my vape pen! Stayed totally stoned for the game!
