I can't with IPAs lol, hops are gross to me I'm all about a good sour though!

Dryhops are nothing like regular hops. It adds fruity and flavorful tastes without adding bitterness. You might be very surprised...

Sorry - I meant wet hopping I guess. Dry hopping is the traditional one. I always get that mixed up.

You are correct on both accounts. A well balanced IPA will have first and foremost a clean malt base with good caramalt this is hopped in the boil pot and dry hopped in the keg, and if you are really lucky you get to drink some from a dedicated homebrewer that puts a refrigerator on a wave table to simulate a trip around the Horn in a ships hold. He indeed won Best of Show at the State Fair. This is when a Good IPA was about 50-60 IBU range. When you get too high IBUs you cannot taste anything else. A lot of the stuff that sells today is just retail swill IMPO.
I have to drink Gluten Free now so real IPA is just a fond memory. The Glutenburg IPA is quite decent with a nice balance that allows both hops and grains to be enjoyed.

Hubby has had so many different IPAs, I haven't enjoyed any of them

@Suki that is why there are 11 other base styles in brewing. Lagers like a Pilsner or a Blonde Ale can be made with very subtle hops that you might find suite your flavor? Do you like Guiness?

..Probably my fault but I'm not sure cause it was my first time having that happen. Even 24 carat, the "control plant" from meph grew balls, even after plucking the first few sets off. I am gonna do another freebie run soon with promix hp and megacrop (@InkAddict$ swears by it and has good looking plants so I'll give it a try.)

I like the Bonnie & Clyde by cronk (no nute burn and I have been consistently pulling around 4 ounces) but I feel like my plants are always hungry and its pretty expensive so time to try something else. You guys will get me off fox farms and bottle nutes soon enough, I'm ready to take the training wheels off
