I use them u just add a chain of the drippers rather then just having the carrot drip in a single spot! I have 1 carrot with 5 drippers on them for a 5gal pot! 7gal has same thing but also has 1 of the longer carrots!

Def not putting 5 directional drippers per pot on a pump setup! And bigger pots or if u want total soil saturation u can actually use their drip tape instead of drippers! That will feed water same as a dripper hose like u hook up to spigot on house to water foundation or flower beds!
Drip tape is what Jeremy of BAS is using in his current XXL automated watering set up.

AC Infinity self watering trays are nice. I start using them as a self waterer in flower. Before that begins they're great for runoff, although I only water my ladies until a slight runoff while in veg and that gets sucked up by the plant in no time.
:pass:

Thanks I have heard they are nice. But I think he is looking for something for coco DTW which if done properly should be getting ~20% runoff by the end of day /last fertigation

I'm sure glad I don't have to worry about runoff.
 :crying:

With the proper width pot the ACI self watering trays behave almost like an Earth Box.
:pass:

They act pretty similar.
If I were to use some sort of automated watering device, it would probably be the carrot and some drip tape. The way I run earth boxes and the way I would run a system with a carrot, I have a dry down period. In an organic soil set up, I think a dry down. Is necessary for optimal health.

Good Morfnoevight All you happy TGIF Stoners!

Ms. MOG and I have had enough of this heat, The quality of our communication was so tense this morning we just looked at each other stopped and hugged. We very seldom are short with each other. We are good now!

That was just from a ph drop?
:rofl::rofl: I have burnt plants up in 4 hours with low PH, hydro is unforgiving.

Well its been a while, hows everyone on here doing
Welcome home! Where you been?

Well it is hard to call that a dog but they are so damn cute. Our neighbor had one, it fit in the palm of your hand. It was very fast and he would walk it on a leash or forever be chasing it  but that is not the funny part. This young mountain of a man is 6'7" tall about 300 pounds of muscle and with this tiny dog on a leash :crying:It was quite the sight. I wish I had a picture of it.

Im havin one of those days buddy. Burned myself with coffee, trippin over myself, shirt getting caught on stuff, droppin shit that of course bounces somewhere gross. I figure its best if i just keep moving cuz its harder to hit a moving target
:pighug:

Hey Pinky I have been stumble bumming around all morning, spilled milk, burnt pancakes, dropping stuff :yoinks:
Ya the gs plant foods kind is in a container like their soybean aminos so its a screw on lid! And like 2 weeks after opening mine i got a new kitchen faucet and it had a nice sized dessicant pack in it so tossed it into the yucca to hopefully help keep it in powder form!

Maybe @Mañ'O'Green will be able to tell us if yucca powder can be made into a bottle of concentrated liquid or prob more appropriate question how long approximately could u expect it to last! Not sure if u could use ph or what u would go by when determining if its near end of shelf life!
I do not know how long it would last without a preservative? I use so little powder, .33g per reservoir change that the 2oz package will last more than 3 grows. I have found the best way to keep moisture away from it is to double bag it with some desiccant in the outer bag.

Can anyone help me with making a list of parts for building a self feeding irrigation setup? I can't seem to find any parts list online. And I have never done anything like this before. But i am willing and able.

In my system I both pump and gravity feed waste water. It goes out side to a bucket and then the yard. Here is my system. I have been having trouble with the pressure compensating drippers getting clogged so I am moving to a new type for the next grow.
