Started watching some of those music videos on youtube, and this ad started playing:

Meet Moxie - The Revolutionary Robot Companion for Social-Emotional Learning

Not sure which is worse - that parents can now buy a robot to teach their psychopathic spawn how to read human facial cues...or, that apparently youtube thinks I need one...

This would probably have been helpful for me as a kid, I struggle reading body language. I'm ND and most of the time just assume people are mad at me all the time cause I don't pick up on the more nuianced expressions.
Sometimes when a product looks really dumb you gotta think "what kind of disability would this help with?" Snuggies were made for people who use wheelchairs, prepeeled/cut fruits and vegetables help people who don't have the dexterity or strength in their hands to do those things themselves. Those grippy reacher picker-upper things are good for people who struggle to bend over. Actually, believe it or not, almost every "as seen on tv" product is made to be helpful for people with disabilities. Like that saying, "if its stupid and it works, its still stupid, but it works." Its cause "accessible" products don't sell to the masses when marketed as accessible, so they have to be advertised to the masses in order to be available to the people who need them.
