Hey now,
Built myself a new battery charger for those 18650 cell I’m recycling. Pretty cool I can safely charge 20 at a time. I found the circuit board files online, ordered 5 from the place I get PCBs made, ordered the rest off AliExpress for as cheep as I could find. Whole thing cost me about 23 bucks, not tooView attachment 1678095View attachment 1678096View attachment 1678097 shabby.

You should add a little 40mm fan to one end of each of those boards to blow on the heatsinks.

Thanks for the kind words. Love building stuff. I’m in trim jail now. Not too terrible, good bang, bang, shoot-em-up, played load, cold beer, and lots of patience. . .

That IPA is my wife's favorite. We are planning a short trip to Chicago this summer to go to the Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium and I'm going to plan a dinner at the Goose Island brew house.

All that work, needs a satisfying meal. MMmm. . . Fresh local beef, fresh made rolls just out of the oven, topped with bacon from the same farm, oh mama!

I recall visiting that place in Chicago, working on the field office out there, or basically partying the whole weekend after working during the day. That’s what surprised me so when I saw it at the market. That was like 30 years ago, or more, yikes, I’m an old fart.

I had to travel to Seattle for work a few times, about 10 years ago.

My grandpa was in the Korean war and had shipped out of Seattle to Japan and then Korea. While in Seattle he ate at some restaurant and really liked it. So, 60 years later he tells me "eat at such and such place on Alki beach".

Not only was it the place that the host company we were going to see took us to dinner at, but it was really really good.

I thought that was super cool, and he was thrilled when I showed him a few pictures.
