Shows how dumb texas politicians are that the last decriminalization bill here was to make up to 1/2lb of flower OR concentrate would be within “legal” limits with a ticket for repeat offenders the max penalty!
Well, namely one politician, the idiot that won't let good cannabis legislation hit the floor to allow the full house and Senate to evaluate.
While there are a lot of good reasons for not having referendum abilities, this sure as hell ain't one of them!

My only hope is that with deregulation, that one nut will have less of a reason to object to cannabis legislation hitting the open floor to be voted upon.

What I want to find out is what Texas representatives voted for the Federal House bill dealing with the new farm bill. With those last bit added items relating to hemp, It would absolutely devastate the Texas hemp industry.
Sales of hemp-derived cannabinoids in Texas generate more than $8 billion annually. Between $19.1 and $22.4 billion in economic activity is generated by the local hemp-derived cannabinoid retail, manufacturing and wholesale sectors. The hemp industry pays upwards of $1.6 billion in annual worker wages.
