Those(ribeyes) would be about $13-14 a pound (1/2 kilo) here in the US. Euro 6.5 isn't bad! That's one great thing about Spain, it's seems almost a birth right to be able to eat and drink very well for very reasonable prices.


Yup...the rib we normally get is 19.99 kilo.......... :headbang: ...I get 1 thick piece for 10-12 euros.. that I slice between the 2 of us...

Last I looked a reasonable Red or white wine from a bodega was 2 euro a ltr/2 pints.. bottles of Cava under 2 euros.


Do you have a carniceria near you? Usually, you can get much better quality at those for around the same price. Plus you'll be supporting local businesses

Tried it...not impressed....:pass:.....

Best selection of good beef is a big supermarket in a big town.... but it is 40 minutes away...and don't always have what I want.....

Nice! Had to change mine up as of late. The style of Birkenstocks that I wore for 30+ years was discontinued. Bastiges! So had to switch it up with Ole Kai ones. Not cheap, but super comfy. Have bad knees, so don't skimp on the shoes! They have a bunch of different style flops. Not sure if they sell them in Spain. If you see them, check em out

But it is the old dairy cow steak I want... I've only had it twice... and it is my favourite steak.

It tastes like gnarly dirty beef...I don't know why...but..it is the most beefy tasting beef I've had.......:chef:... gnarly......yum..yum..








I Think this one says 10-15 Years old cows.... :headbang:
