[Lil Dab]

I could scrap off some, but there is still some staining, I have a buddy who suggested getting some of the quartz cups that fit into the 25mm banger, so I ordered a few to try out.

That might work but assuming you’ll have to clean the inserts too just as much.. I remember reading about using inserts when I was figuring out how to torch dab with cold starts.. I don’t believe I’ve heard of guys using them with a enail..
scraping is probably going to be the best way with it so burnt on there and it’s going to take some elbow grease and maybe multiple soaking too

I hardly use ISO in my banger unless I get lazy I don’t clean then I just switch out for another and let it soak for a couple days.. I clean out after every couple dabs with just qtips no iso.. Glop mops and blazey Susan ones are my favorite just because they soak up much more then cheapies

i kept fogging up my bangers that way. what i learned is the resin gets into the pores of the banger so thats why i qtip, then iso qtip, then dry after every dab. its a couple extra steps but im basically dabbing off a brand new nail everytime.
i have this thing that pumps out the iso onto the qtip ill link it for you its part of my daily dabbing kit. way easier than opening the bottle everytime trying to dip a qtip in.

For starters how much and how often u watering that? Also what u feeding it? Def looks poorly watered and prob overfed too! I go with the guess n hope method of fixing issues but with that info @Mañ'O'Green could prob tell u what issue is! Some strains are much more sensitive in their feeds so feeding bunch of diff strains the same nute mix could have some responding much differently!

Well, a while back you told me that it looked overwatered, so I slowed down and have been giving it about a half gallon every 2 days and no nutrients. Its been like that for about 10 days now.

Today it looks better, with more normal looking leaves.

i use a newport torch on low or medium heat it for 30 seconds on the bottom then let it cool for 30 seconds, perfect everytime. thats assuming people have a thick banger, times may vary if they have a thin walled banger.

I clean mine dry and it takes few qtips I clean while it’s still hot

I have a enail now but when I did use a torch I only did cold starts just my 2 cents

@Talonxracer the brown stuff will only come off from burning and it degrades the quartz. Scraping it will only damage the quartz potentially if iso won't strip it it's not coming off it's stained. It's from hot dabs if you only ever cold started you wouldn't get that. Some ppl even iso the qtip to get everything before next heat. Resin dissolves in iso fairly easily

I got steroid shots in my back this morning, helps with the arthritis down my back, not to mention I probably will eventually need two disc replacements when I can no longer take the pain.
They wheel me into the surgery room, then they sing happy birthday to me, and bring out a brownie with a candle. I told them I was hoping todays procedure was a freebie. That apparently was the funniest comment they heard thus far today.

62 years and I never even seen or had a dab.
