JEAN-O’S VOODOO
Alright so I'm a newbie and already messing up. I planted my babies in coco and was going to transplant into 5 gal pots after 3 weeks. But you guys saved me.so I'm going to start with my set up.
I got a 5x5 ac infinity tent, a 6 in ac infinity ventilation fan, 1 sonlipo led 1200w designed for cannabis, a 1000w growstar, I'm switching to 3 gal grow bag, 2fans one down low one up top, 2 little dehumidifiers, 1 humidifier, I got pH,tds,ec sticks, and3 in1 soil moist,pH,light thing. I got a trillis, ac infinity plant tie,Carson microbrite plus,4 32 oz wide mouth mason jars, 4 burpees lids 4 mini thermo- hygrometers, 2way regulator humidity packs, trimming tray, trimmers, ac infinity temp and humidity control on its way, ro water system, GH pH up down kit, sticky traps
Nutes- dr.earth ved, gold, and bloom, superthrive, growers choice recharge on its way cal-mag, dolomite lime, apple cider vinegar, neem oil spray.
Soil- happy frog and happy frog soil conditioner, perlite. That about sums it up any advice I'm open to all questions and answers I've gotten nothing but good help on this website and looking for good advice...... I also have 2 seedlings I potted on Feb 26th in coco in 3 in jiffy biodegradable pots then transplanted on march 6 in 5 gal grow bags about 9 days old in pictures, and 3 seeds in paper towels after soaking for 16 hr 2 already cracked I started yesterday on march 7th.... I plan on trying to run 6 plants at a time I'm going to get another tent to where I can have a endless grow back to back. I'm switching to sohum organic living soil for cannabis next grow.
Temp is staying around 75°f and humidity 66%

@Tattoochase you are off and running. You need drip trays and stands to get an air-gap under the pots. This helps prevent anaerobic microbes from growing there.

You need to learn about balanced nutrients and FFHF most likely will not need ANY Cal-Mag. It haas enough Dolomite Lime from the vendor to last more than a grow.

What you need to learn about watering will come with practice. Here are the basic rules: Never let the soil dry out. Soil and or coco can become hydrophobic if allowed to dry. This means it repels water. This in turn will create dry pockets in the soil and the roots and microbes will die there. If your soil - coco have accidentally dried out use a surfactant to help re-wet it. I like yucca powder. Don't let soil remain soggy by watering too much too often. Root rot, damping off, molds, fungus gnats and other problems start in soggy soil. When you do water water the entire pot. How to learn when to water starts before you plant the seed. Fill your container with fresh soil/coco and weigh it (heft it) this is the lightest weight and consider it a dry pot. Now slowly water until the soil/coco will no longer absorb the water and run-off begins; weigh the pot (heft it) this is the maximum water, the wettest the pot can get. The difference between wettest and driest is the maximum water weight, for ease of explanation lets just say the water weighs 20 pounds. When the pot loses 10 pounds (half of the water weight) it is time to water again. There is an art to watering.

Check got a step on weight scale will that work❓

It will until the plants get big. It is best if you can just heft them or move them around a little by the tray. You will get a sense of the weight that way. Watering is an ART. It is a skill that good growers learn.

I think I know what you mean cause I've been testing the weight often by hefting.ill get it down.ive grown carnivorous plants of all kinds, but this is different from that.

Little guy popped up from nowhere
Ok it either has to it's one of the 2 seeds that didn't germinate or the the one that sprouted and looked like he took a turn for the worst. But hey now I'll have 6 instead of 5...... I transplanted him into a 3 gallon pot. Now I'm running 3 3 gal pots and 3 5 gal pots.
