It's always good to study man you can't study it enough. if not anyting study the strain you're going to grow.
Some of the best experience you'll ever gets is just doing it yourself you know and to learn from other people's examples that's probably the best way.
That's why I love these forums you can go around and read other people's journals and see good and bad things it's almost better than a textbook sometimes.

Some pics of some examples of topping and non topping the first two picks none of them plants have not been topped and then the next three pics are of a plant that I topped to 5th node.
There's so many ways to grow LST topping super cropping all of them together even.
It fun growing.
I'm running a Chem Berry diesel right now that I've done all that too and scrog netting it in my outside grow. Never done it before....experiment...

Day 23. Had an excellent day of full sun yesterday. However, woke up this morning to some massive damage from garden snails.

She should survive, but I’m going to need to add some eggshells or something else to keep the little fuckers at bay.

Day 25. Still enjoying the sunshine. Watered and gave some nutes today. Eggshells have been working thus far. Topped today.

Day 30. Still getting munched on by snails or whatever is eating my plants. The eggshells don’t seem to be working. Due to her size, she’s taking it better than the BlackBerry Gum which was totally destroyed. However, I’m not sure how much more she can take.

So I read some online articles and came across one study suggesting caffeine is a snail/slug deterrent/killer. So I just spread some coffee grounds around the pot and on the soil, and sprayed some coffee all around and on the plant. We shall see how it works.

Put a few shallow dishes of beer embedded in the dirt, beside the pot....slugs and snails will go in and drink themselves to death(aka drown).

That's very cool GS..
I haven't heard that one before I'll remember that I don't have problems with snails or slugs in my area so far knock on wood but I understand that copper band around the bottom of the plant works really well to keep them from crawling up the plant but the beer that sounds like a really easy one to remember there's always beer around here LOL[emoji481][emoji481][emoji482][emoji482]LoL

Day 35. Not as bushy as my previous plant, but with all the pests munching on her, I’ll take what I can get.

Sadly this grow came to an unexpected end. And now I'm back in the states, but I will begin a new grow soon. Fingers crossed.
