New Grower I think I can.....I think I can

Yeah I thought it seemed a little odd but got overly excited and just went with it. Really kicking myself in the butt for letting them dry out.
So far none have popped up. Pretty sure they were all dead before they made it in the coco. Patience isn't exactly a virtue I was blessed with but I'm trying
:crying:
I'm going to wait until tomorrow evening at least and if nothing pops up I'll be planting some more.
Are the "dead" seeds in the pot going to be an issue? I was thinking of planting the new ones a little off center and leaving the old ones in there incase one decides to come to the party.

Don't give up. I have had many seeds take longer than 10 days. But if timing of your tent is on a tight schedule starting a couple of fresh seed is a $20 insurance bet?

Not going to give up! I am a very determined person...sometimes to a fault lol. Timing is essential. I only have about a months worth of pot left and I am not used to going without. My seeds didnt cost me a dime and I have hundreds of them so that's not really an issue.

Do you know the strain? They are still worth at least $10 ea at retail worth a lot more under various circumstance. Are they Feminized, auto ???????

The only auto seeds I have are homemade ones that aren't feminized. I have the following.
White Grape f1
White Grape f2
White Grape f2 x Samsquanch OG
White Grape f2 x Strawberry Nuggets
White Grape f2 x SODK

The White Grape f2 x Forum Stomper are the ones I started but only had a couple and fear the worst for them.
White grape is one he made it is (white dwarf x double grape) x double grape.

Its alot of ones I'm thinking are all normal seeds. Lots of crosses that my x bf made and lots of bought packs with a few seeds each

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

The first white grape stomper is peeking its head out. I honestly cant believe one came up after germinating it in a dry paper towel in the sunlight

I soak seed in water for 12 hrs then into 3oz cups already in final pot. After seedling pops up i wait a few days then split my “non-transplant” cup and voila final pot. 100% germ rate so far...

For seed starting, I have a small, black plastic toolbox, cost me $2.00. I keep various small bottles and a jar in there, clonong solution, a couple of plastic cups. I puts seeds in the tylenol bottles and fill 3/4 full. Ad a couple drop of H2O2 for a little extra oxygen. When the seeds sprout their radicle, Put them in a wet paper towel. I put the towel in a plastic sandwich bag and stand it up with the plastic cups to hold then upright. This way, the radicle grows downward instead of all twisted up. Makes planting them easier. So I always have a perfectly dark environment that I can move to wherever is warm in winter, usually next to my cable box lol. Ohh and I make a plant label and put it in the cup, then slip it in the baggie with the seed/seeds so I don't mix them up..... not that i ever have.............:coffee2:

and I started out doing this using and empty Matzo cracker box..... I understand being on a budget!

Well I think I've messed this up already :rolleyes1:

Checked on the seeds and my paper towels were totally dry. It also dawned on me that they were pretty exposed to light all this time.

I rehydrated and put my Tupperware container inside a tiny box. Pretty sure the ones that had lil tails coming out are done for but about half of them hadn't cracked yet so I'm hoping for the best. If nothing happens in the next day or so I'll start up a new batch.

@oldnewbdude Thank you so very much for chiming in!! I actually already ran some nutes through last night. I used RO water. I did 75ppm calmag, the tiger bloom (the npk seemed closer to what I read seedlings need), 2 drops of superthrive and the recharge. It came out to just under 300ppm. I read so many different things as far as where the ppm should be so I just took the high 600 and the low 0 and tried to hit the middle lol.
