New Grower I think I can.....I think I can

I agree with @Mañ'O'Green in regards to germination. Just pop it straight into the medium. I've soaken, paper toweled, and pot seeds in the past. Took 4 days. 2days soaking, 1 day paper towel and 1 day to pop head out of coco. One day I got lazy and just put seed into moist coco, didn't even soak it first. That popped in 3days, same batch same genetics.:rolleyes1: My lazy ass pops seeds straight into coco now.

Pop them into pots of coco now and see if you can save any.

They will grow into the fibers of the paper towels and are ripped off every time the seedling is move or the towel is opened – ouch.

i too preach this every chance i get...but..... :blahblah:   jus sayin...:smoking: ppp

@Mañ'O'Green @420Forever @Mary Djayne
Thanks for the help!! :worship:

I potted up all of the seeds that looked like they still had a chance. I think I got so caught up on preparing my coco that I just went with the first idea I seen to sprout them. Really wish I would have started the White Grape x Samsquanch seeds for my first go as I have a ton of those. All I could think about after researching what my crosses had in them was frost frost frost. Really hope at least one White Grape Stomper makes it and is female.

I'm just glad to have you tag along

:pighug:

My gramma always used to tell me that the only real mistake is the one you didnt learn from. I have a feeling I'm going to have to remind myself of that frequently in the coming months

-> grow, learn, grow again...simple :pighug: ppp

@Jan:) There are many that subscribe to the paper towel method and will poo poo my position. I am an old Hippie and try to be as close to Mother Earth's evolved methods as I can. That said I grow indoors under fake light, using manufactured nutrients in rock wool. Hell I might as well be in space - I am so far removed from Mother Nature. Well I gotta do what I gotta do to get my meds. It works.

 pretty

I'm an old hippie at heart :crying:

Well what you said made so much sense it should have been common sense.

What I find crazy is that most of the cannabis seed sites describe or even recommend the paper towel method  When did that become the "normal"
You'll never find that on the back of a pack of veggie seeds :haha:

Yeah I thought it seemed a little odd but got overly excited and just went with it. Really kicking myself in the butt for letting them dry out.
So far none have popped up. Pretty sure they were all dead before they made it in the coco. Patience isn't exactly a virtue I was blessed with but I'm trying
:crying:
I'm going to wait until tomorrow evening at least and if nothing pops up I'll be planting some more.
Are the "dead" seeds in the pot going to be an issue? I was thinking of planting the new ones a little off center and leaving the old ones in there incase one decides to come to the party.
