OK well that's a little different than what you originally stated. Not trying to stir the pot, just trying to make sense of this assbackwards plant.

I think if 6500 is ideal for start to finish then MH would be the same. At least it should be...

Always ready to discuss T5 lighting. I love it...

Yeah, I do. I would use your CFL fixture as middle lighting and T5 fixture for overhead lighting. I just might do this myself.
Also, this site might save you a few dollars on the fixture.
