That makes sense. Hopefully cutting my watering frequency will correct the problem. I’ll definitely keep a close eye out for bud rot. Thanks!

This Purple Kong has been through the ringer and looks it! Pruned most of its leafs a couple weeks ago as they were looking really bad. Seems to have reacted well to that. Broken branch is still happy after repair. Backing off on watering frequency eliminated the oozing.
In spite of the abuse I’ve inflicted, it is still fattening up nice and getting frostylishous!
