EDIT - I started her on B nutes about 22 days ago. So you are likely right and it's old trichomes. She got a ways to go yet. But I doubt she will go 90.

I’m 4.5 weeks into my fastbuds banana purple punch and she has quite a bit of amber hairs. No signs of hermie except for the hairs turning but it’s also a part of the maturing process so it can happen. Not gonna bother checking trichomes for another three weeks... just in case she is actually maturing faster

I'm not even sure why I checked to be honest. I usually wait to see signs of some kind of fade. Just decided to have a look. Been awhile since I checked this early too. I think the Mendel has a good bit of plumping up to do. Guess I'm still getting my bearings back and decided to have a peek.

My strawberry nuggets girl is done based on the trichs. She’s mid 8 week into flower and I’ve noticed she’s still packing on weight although the trichs are mature enough. So no doubt your girl will still continue to get fatter n denser even when she looks done. I just let them go past 8 weeks of flower, unless they realllyyyy look done. Ur girls are looking great so far and I think Mendel will also fatten n harden like crazy over the next few weeks

I think my Nuggets went 91 days seed to harvest if I recall correctly.

On a side note. I said I wanted to grow a purple strain and had decided on Blackstrap? Guess that's going to have to wait unless I decide to put up the 4x4. In addition to the Twenty20 Ogreberry tester, looks like I'm going to do a FB Banana Purple for a G&S. Funny how that works out. As far as the 4x4, I believe I'm going to hold off until fall and cooler temps before I put that up. That way I can run more than 2 strains at once.

And I believe that I will start a new indoor journal once the next run starts. Greenbean's (mid-late) 2022 Grows. Or something like that. We'll figure that part out when it is time.

Yeah, I'm sure it'll be nice. Should be fun. Guess the 4x4 will go up in Fall though. 2 runs would be 8 plants and would take a nice chunk out of the strains I've wanted to run. Not to mention I want to run Jeano and AMR again too. Not enough time, or space in the World to do everything I want.

Day 62 for Mendel Piña Kaleidoscope. She is really starting to bulk now. If I hadn’t grommeted the canopy wide, she’s over 3’ tall. So not exactly a small plant. But not the biggest either.

one thing I started to do today is pull all of the shorter satellite/offshoot fruits into the middle of the canopy to get them fully exposed. Had to wire them together to stay put. Hopefully in a few days I can remove the wire and they’ll stay put in the middle. Lather, rinse repeat with the others, to get everything as much light as possible now. My pot is really crooked too. Not sure if it’s the pot sewn lopsided, or I didn’t open it up enough for the soil to be even? Too late now!

Lol, I did the same thing with the crooked pot last grow. Takes a couple runs to get them to stretch out.

I've never had it happen before. Mine looks like it was sorta folded over, and I just said FUCK IT and started dumping soil in. Side note - I looked into Rain Science bags with grommets installed. $40 for TWO 5 gallon pots? I wouldn't want to DIY the grommets on those. But I cannot justify $40 for 2 bags as much as I would like to support them.

For real! I wrap a string around the bag 5 or 6 times and tie my LST lines off that.
