Indoor GreenBean's Grows

I get my grommet kits for about $10. One kit will do dozens of bags. I really want to try their bags though. Maybe I can justify it later.

Checking in after a few days away. Your plants look excellent. Great environment and lots of photons is a winning combination.

You wrote a while back that you were running 1000 to 1100 µmols. What was your DLI for this part of the grow?

I honestly do not worry, or think about DLI. I just grow them based on what I see and feel they need. And adjust to that. Right now I'm running between 900-1100 PPFD across the entire tent. Last I checked I was at about 48 DLI. I only checked that for shits and giggles. If they are not drooping too heavily around lights out time, I don't worry about DLI too much. If they are showing that they are light tired more than a couple hours before bedtime I will adjust. Last time that happened was on a FB Zkittlez that apparently did not want so much light. I may adjust lights on a given day according to what I see. Not very scientific if you exclude the power of observation, but that is the way that I do it.

Where's @olbobcat at? Anyone checked on him? He's probably busy, but I'm gonna shoot him a message to see if he's ok.
Thanks for the thought. I have been busy and just not into any kind of socializing at all, not even in person. The longer you stay away sometimes the harder it is to come back. I got a lot of catching up to do.
Thanks again.

I'm glad to see you back, I was worried about you. We gotta do what we gotta do, and sometimes taking a break from technology is the best thing to do.

I'm not even sure why I checked to be honest. I usually wait to see signs of some kind of fade. Just decided to have a look. Been awhile since I checked this early too. I think the Mendel has a good bit of plumping up to do. Guess I'm still getting my bearings back and decided to have a peek.
Sometimes they just don't fade.

I have some generic airpots coming tomorrow, I used small ones to grow transplants and the roots and size where fantastic.

I'm trying to get some sense of how much to push my Gorilla Glue autos. Most of the canopy is at 650± but the colas that are sticking up are around 800. I'd like to get the average PPFD up higher but I don't want to damage the colas that are the "hot spots".

Per the numbers below, the light is only 12" and 13" above canopy. Raise the light and turn up the wattage?

I always get enough DLI running 24/7, but I worry about light penetration. I think the light burn is not as much a problem these days especially if your humidity is not too low.

24/7, eh? Interesting. And no negative effects? What strikes me is that many growers who have done 24/7 report diminished yield whereas the "Cannabis Growers Bible", the author having at least a BS in botany, says flat out that there's no diminution of output.

What's your experience been like?
