Also, an unrelated note. How does trimming lower leaves affect these girls? I am starting to worry a bunch of energy will be put by the plant into trying to develop lower sites that don't get much light to begin with, but i don't want to stress them out chopping away and screw up their grow. So far I have only taken a few leaves off that were affected earlier on, maybe 2-3 per plant max.

Hey, Brother :smoking:

Man! Those flower heads look Gorgeous:greenthumb:

I pull a bunch of my under growth, over the span of flowering:thumbsup: If there are scrawny under branches that look like they're wiffledust, I cut them, too:coffee:

I tend to pull a half dozen leaves, every other day or so. Like you say, no need to stress the Girls without purpose :eyebrows:

In my Tasty test tent, right now, I have 3 Blue Velvet and a pair of Trainwreck at 7 weeks, and I've got a Stuffed gallon zip lock bag of leaves from them:smokeit:

Your grow is looking great! You'll never regret a Mephisto grow:slap:

Thanks for the quick reply & answers! I am quickly running out of room in the tent, and I wanted to make sure I'm not wasting what little space is left! And ill definitely keep an eye out for wiffledust branches xD seems a shame to cut healthy growth but itd be a greater shame to slow down the bigger producers considering i may only get this grow, and if I'm lucky 1 other.

You could put something under the blue to get it more light by raising it up.

Tragedy struck :/ I knew this grow was going too smoothly. The fan I had clipped onto my tent's spring broke, and the in falling it decapitated one of the happier branches. Attached are the pics, and i have for now ties said branch to the main cola to support & / or close the wound. Is it worth leaving on or should I remove the whole branch? I'd really rather leave it on, but I don't know if she can even heal from such a big wound. It is the second from the bottom, and the one directly under it just got bent badly, but didn't tear / open at the base.

Leave it if its not broken all the way through . support it a little

I had also a broken branch, it was very bad, i kind of attached again holding it with what i had around, and she recover with no problem, and give me a lovely cola :) she will be fine.

Not too big of an update, but the broken branch indeed lives on! tied it to the main stem, and it seems to have survived minor decapitation.

Heisenhounds are now at day 43, and I've noticed the bushier shorter one on the left is building buds faster then her sister, however the other did continue to grow a bit taller and is now starting to fill out said bud sites.

The Skyrone Stompers in the back are now at day 36, and may have stopped stretching finally? Not a bad thing by any means, and from stalk to top are 36-39 inches tall

Auto blues hasn't had the easiest life, but now has a mini shelf to kick it on and is continuing the journey to being a real plant +++

ordered a de-humidifier as with our -3 - +5 degree temps outside I am unable to leave it open as much without turning the room into an ice box!
