Guys i need some advice!!

Today it absolutely pissed down with rain earlier, not usually a big deal as it warms up and drys out well usually.
When it stopped about 1pm i went out to check on the girls and maybe shake off any water they had on them still.

MOULD!
Multiple buds on multiple plants have shown signs of moulding on the buds, was inspecting one and it was just coming apart from itself disgustingly. Ive snipped off every bud showing signs of rotting. Quite a lot, they still look quite full afterwards but it was very disheartening snipping away buds like that. Havent seen any signs of mould before now so came as a surprise!

Today i got rid of the tent. I suspect this had a role to play, raising humidity over night maybe, restricting air flow maybe, accumulating rain on top then once rains stopped its dripping inside when it should be dry maybe? Multiple reasons are telling me to get rid of it, so i did. Nights arent as cold as they have been and i think being outdoors majority of their lives they might be able to resist the cold weather more than the moisture of the tent and rain. When it rains hard i have a covered portion of the terrace i can move them to, and with the tent gone i can also space them further apart giving them much better airflow and sun exposure too.

The advice i was hoping for would be :
Do you think ive dealt with this in a decent manner?
Do you think ive missed anything out on dealing with the bud rot/preventing it happen again?
Is there any common issues or general practices i should be doing to combat mould and bud rot in an outdoor grow?
Any help will be greatly appreciated guys

Any help will be greatly appreciated guys this is the worst thing to happen to my grow so far, so im just trying to learn how to do better.

Will be researching myself a lot too in the meantime!

Many thanks guys sorry for the tag!!

I've luckily not had to deal with it myself, a bit clueless so hopefully others can help :pass:

Cheers guys hopefully im doing the right thing. Going to move them under the covered area of my terrace when it rains and if its forcasted to rain during the night. Think losing the tent should help a lot with air flow.

Such a shame to lose so many buds but better than all of them rotting away!

These 2 pics are after i snipped all the rotted buds away. Poor plant [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] is now virtually gone!

Hey bro you got issues and you're going to have to get on them yesterday this ain't no joke you got mold you got bud rot you got dank buds you're going to have a mess if you don't get on it immediately I know this from experience you can lose your entire plant due to these things if you don't get on it right away you need to go down and get some hydrogen peroxide if you can get the drugstore kind at 3% that's fine but if you can go down to the hydro store and get the 34% this would be better either way you going to mix up a strong batch of hydrogen peroxide and water mix if you use a 3% hydrogen peroxide I want you to use 1 Q of hydrogen peroxide to 2 quarts of water this is a Little Bit Stronger mix than a preventative mix.

First things first spray the plants with hydrogen peroxide and the water mix spray them to drench. DRENCH them completely do not miss anything.
Then come back through and identify all of the buds that have Bud rot and you can do one or two things with those buds.
You can either snip the bud rot out of the bud and completely remove all the gray matter and Bud rot and retreat with the hydrogen peroxide mix or you can snip the bud completely off the plant and remove it completely away split it open remove the gray matter and treat with hydrogen peroxide and let dry and cure is normal make sure that you removed all of the gray matter or Bud rot off the bud if you choose to do this process.

Repeat this process every other day until Harvest you can lighten up the mix to 1 quart hydrogen peroxide to 4 quarts of water for the remainder. You can also use this same mix to wash your buds before curing and drying and you can let them sit in there for 20 minutes 30 minutes an hour and overnight if you want to to completely remove any nasties this will not degrade your THC whatsoever you will not lose any potency at all. It's actually probably the one of the best things I've ever discovered doing in my growing career. I especially love trimming after I have soaked in the hydrogen peroxide especially a good strong batch.
The plant seems to be springy and very easy to trim. But after your drying and curing process you'll notice that the plant has a very clean taste when you smoke it or use it it's different and it's flavors come out more because the flavors of all the nasties that was on the plant aren't there so you get the Flavours of the plant this way more so.[emoji482]
I hope this helps you bro good luck happy growing you got any questions give me a holler @ me

Got onto it the minute i spotted them buddy! Appreciate your post btw lots of help in there! Straight away ive snipped every bud with even the smallest signs of bud rot anywhere on the bud, branches with any of the tiny buds also rotting then i discarded the whole branch. All of them for the rubbish.

I will get some hydrogen peroxide and make a spray for the rest of the grow and preventative for future grows aswell. Any sign of other buds rotting i will carry out the drench and snip.

As for the bud washing im 100% going to be doing this already as i read it elsewhere! I read that they used baking soda and lemon juice though, would you say to use the peroxide instead of one of those or add to them? From what ive read i was planning to fill one bucket with baking soda and lemon juice, and two with plain water to rinse off the mixture afterwards.

Cheers mate

Lemon juice to me makes no sense whatsoever by the time you dilute the lemon juice down it's useless anyways all this is smell good I've done it before the baking soda has useful properties but it's not needed in this process the hydrogen peroxide will do all the work for you just make it stronger or weaker.
But drench your plants you already exhibiting bud rot now drench your plants do not wait. You want to get them plants as clean of the infection as fast as possible ASAP on hydrogen peroxide mix for real this no joke that shit will decimate your crop in a heartbeat. It's because of the Dank buds and any kind of moisture gets inside them it can't get out and it creates heat and the heat creates the mold and it also can happen from bug poop and moisture. In any case it has to be washed off immediately your best bet is to drench as the mix I give you first 1 quart to two quarts of water and then you can dial it down as a preventative and you can use it everyday if you care to it does not bother the plant the plants actually love the extra O2 there's a lot of uses for hydrogen peroxide in your growing Google it YouTube it it's all over the place it's a great tool.
Good luck bro happy growing[emoji482]

Did also an outdoor NL...twice...
Western EU...wet summer of 2017...
This is the advice u dont wanna hear....but i had to cut her....its very hard to get rid of mold...powdery mildew...all kind of bastard sucky illness badass stuff nobody wants to deal with... @archie gemmill u remember don t u.
My advice is....kill them. Because it will continue when drying your plants...unless you make your heart a stone...cut all the mold out...all of it. Clean scissors while doing, avoid hitting not affected buds.
Pitty i just discover your thread bro.
Nice room with a view:eyebrows:.
Nl is pretty mold resistant...so when she has it....you must slaughter.
Hydrogene peroxide is good when discovering it in early stage...no?
Do you have a pic of the worst and less contamin buds?
Anyway...i m not a pro but i know the problem...and never heard lemon juice would help you....maybe as prevention but after? Having doubts...
greetz moon.

they still look  to me,didnt loose to much :coffee:and buds chunking up.indoor growers got it easy keeping temps and RH within range  my one bout of BR was a plant hanging up drying :face: 100% my fault i turned down or off a table fan.
fingers crossed for a few good days, with little or no rain :cool1: could be plain sailing from here to the end if weather picks up :woohoo1: but do keep a close eye on them:thumbsup: top advice and experience from @Growtogrow  and @Moonshade
good luck n keep er lit.
