Now that the first of the four plants is in the dry/cure phase I thought I would take the time to post this log as my first ever auto flower grow. I sprouted four seeds (1 Auto Tangerine, and three CBD Auto Charlottes Angel on December 9, 2019. Each was planted into a five-gallon fabric pot, in a one-quart "core" of FoxFarms Happy frog surrounded by Fox Farms Ocean & Forest. They are centered in a 4X8 tent with fan-driven ventilation, a modified steamer/humidifier, and a small electric heater. The temperature & humidity are set (with an in-line controller) at 75ºF and 50% humidity. Lighting is a Micro 400+ COB on a 20hr on, 4hr off cycle. Right off the Charlottes Angel plants were each different in growth pattern. Two seemed "stunted". The other and the Auto Tangerine grew "normally". At 20 days I topped the "normal" Charlottes Angel and began LST on the other three. (See pic)

Day 35
Day 35. Flowering is starting. The plant in the foreground is the Auto Tangerine with the largest of the Charlottes Angel peeking in over its shoulder. At this point the tallest two are getting light at about 860PAR while the shorter ones (further from the lights) are gettin about 580PAR.

Day 42
Day 42. While experimenting with watering/dryness I had an overnight timer failure and found the Auto Tangerine in full wilt looking dead in the morning!!!! Watering brought it back with several of the fan leaves damaged beyond salvage so I trimmed it a bit. Everyone else is doing well. The two "stunted" Charlottes Angel remain much shorter then the other two. The largest of the Charlottes Angel is becoming somewhat lime-colored as if it is nitrogen deficient . pH is okay, soil N is OK. Watering issue still???

Day 50
Day 50. The "lime-colored" Charlottes Angel continued its behavior in spite of watering adjustments and even the application of a bat guano tea. So I gave it a watering containing a soluble tomato fertilizer and saw a positive effect within 24 hours. I will continue the dilute fertilizer in the water each day. The other plants are continuing as before. The pic is the "lime" plant.

Day 56
Day 56. The "lime" Charlottes angel is doing much better but remains a bit pale. The Auto Tangerine is looking almost ready for harvest!! Charlottes Angel numbers 2 & 3 are blooming nicely even though short.

Day 60
Day 60. I harvested the top colas from the Auto Tangerine based on the beginnings of amber trichomes. I left about 2/3 of the plant still to be harvested and will do so over the next few days as the buds ripen. Here's the first harvest before wet-trimming.

Day 63
Day 63. Here's the three Charlottes Web plants at nine weeks. I cut a few more of the Tangerine buds today and expect the rest will come off within two days. This pretty much catches me up so I will continue to document the CBD Charlottes Angel plants as they sprint to the finish.
