New Grower First Grow - Dinafem Widow & Amnesia

Day 65:

No point posting any pictures yet as they all look the same as above at the moment!

Since moving the plant to the side its started to drink a lot of water and looks like the resin production has started up again - fingers crossed it will make a recovery.

I was starting to think that they would be ready this week however looks like they all have got second wind, checked the pots today and they are very light and lots of new pistols out of the buds so they must still be getting bigger! I think I am going to be patient and wait for all fan leaves to drop - hopefully another 7 days. I have come this far waiting 7 more days isn't going to hurt and will probably reap the benefits more by doing so

Have just done a inspection of all the plants and fed them again. The crystal formation on some of these is amazing, I have never seen anything like it - will try to get some more pics up of the crystals! Its quite hard due to the HPS light. I don't really like pulling them in and out the tent - one of them always ends up getting damaged.

Day 65:

Here is a some pics of one of the plants I believe to be one of the smallest buds - all the others have buds a lot bigger! As I said previously I don't usually like getting them out the tent but the HPS Light is making it hard to see the true colours of the plants. Really impressed with the amount of bud, I am hoping for 3oz dry from this one

What do you guys think of this one, Ready for harvest? This plant is the most yellow out of all of them with the less leaves

Nice. Looks like it's about that time rolo. Grown very nicely.

 Wow. looking amazing.
Knowing what you know now do you think you would have kept feeding them any longer ? Not that it looks like anything is wrong  Keep up the great work dude.

Thanks! If I yield less than 2oz per plant then I think I could of fed them nutes a bit longer. If its over this then I think I would do about the same again as this is what I would be happy to get again. Next grow is photos then will give autos another run.

I think I am going to cut one tomorrow (One in the pictures). The buds don't feel as sticky as they did - They seem to look more "ripe" than the other plants. Will free up a bit of space for the others!

Day 66:

Got one of the widow plants out to see how its look out of the light. I think this one is nearly ready as well - BIG dense solid buds on this compared to the other plant I posted yesterday.

Chop day for the plant above - it may be early I am not sure but most of the leaves have died off and bud leaves starting to yellow now so I think its time - will post up wet weight later today

So I just harvested my first plant! I am extremely happy with the yield considering this was the plant with the smallest buds. I got a nice bit of scissor hash from the trimming which I will be trying out later this evening. I was excited for the trimming but after taking 4 hours it started to drag! lol

Wet Weight of First plant:

Top Canopy Buds - 300g
Popcorn Buds - 100g
Sugar Leaves/Bud Leaves - 100g

So if we say I will lose 75% of that weight hopefully on the popcorn and canopy buds I will be left with around 3-4oz which is what I said I would be really happy with!

I am glad all 9 plants are not ready at the same time as there would not have been enough space on the drying rack. Fingers crossed the other 8 plants yield around the same and I will be able to make enough oil for 2-3 months.

Yeees! Good stuff man, they look great. Crazy thing is my WW XXL are about a week older then yours but are not aging as fast. Might be because I'm only growing two plants under a 250w, either way, nice job man. Can't wait to see the final weight and product.:headbang:

Yea me too! I have read a lot of conflicting information regarding how much weight is lost in drying, Ive seen people claim 30% and others 90% I would be happy with a 75% weight loss - 8 more to harvest yet.

Potentially 1-2 more coming down in next couple days but not made my mind up yet - bud leaves are all yellowing heavily now. Bit worried chopping too early and too late lol Its weird because they are still green under the canopy but yellow on top. Might try let them go another 3-4 days
