Mephisto Genetics DWC Sour crack

Thats probably what I would have to do. Noise is an issue so I was thinking of taking off piping, doing the cheap carbon filter with the pencil cups and making 6 of them each pulling air from a different part of the top if the tent. Kinda like this: -_-_-_
That sounds like an interesting solution. If you ever do that I would like to see a pic of it. Actually the fan that I use is really pretty quiet. Quieter than the 4" bathroom fan that I used to use. Got it from amazon.Amazon product

LOL! For me it means hauling water also, my water kills canna, its why I stopped doing DWC, WAY too much waste water to do RO and driving 12 miles to town to haul buckets of water isn't happening either.......... And DWC may give me a bigger yield, but if you look at my current grow, where would I put plants bigger than this???? :smoking:.

Nope, hydro for me is coco in auto pots, and even then, nothing beats growing in a big pot of soil! ( For me anyway )
Oh yeah I forgot about your crazy canna killing water. Did you ever find out what it was that was doing the damage? If I remember correctly wasn't it like crazy amounts of calcium carbonate

Nope tests showed expected well water levels. Iron spikes sometimes, I suspect that.

As a noob on my second dwc run: I honestly find it easier than soil. It's much faster for the girls to tell you what's wrong and to correct any issues as opposed to dirt. There can be more babysitting involved but i still stare at em almost everyday anyways..haha
Each has its advantages and disadvantages.
I also spend hours looking at my plants, talking to them. Listening to books on audible together, you name it. I set up netflix so the plant can watch it with me. I think there's something to it though.

I ha e one similar to that but I just want a solution that is quiet enough to not be heard outside of the room. With silent pc fans I can do that
Thanks for joining!

Spending as much time as you do with your plants DWC is the only way to go. Because you can almost watch them grow. I am missing my DWC right now

I agree, there's something fun about the growth explosion on dwc. Why not pop another bean in dwc and have some fun :)

I have power restrictions being as I am off the grid. So the constant draw of the pumps makes it to where I will have to wait til I get my place plugged in to the grid before I can start up my DWC again

I wish I was off the grid! I would love to grow in a greenhouse in the middle of the woods. Is your greenhouse able to be heated? Its be the perfect place year round if it is.
