if it was me I'd go for it,worst case you cut a few roots it won't stunt or die,document what,when,etc and you'll have something to document against next time..

Oh,you could also run the legs on the outside of the pot,I used the smallest ring cause these are 2gallon pots,if you can use a bigger ring for your pot,that might work @Dudeski

Here's what the mainlined plant looked like on May 22 at the first cut/start of the mainline( page 28),in hindsight she's came a long way,but there's always that question,did I f*** up,you never know till you try ,and I would still have followed thru even if I killed it,heck I could still kill it!! I had thought of the outside and if necessary use bailing wire to secure it around the pot.

Just did same thing to one... See how it goes ... How long until vertical growth stopped on the buds for the grandma... I got one doing the same shit... On day 100 plus and still stretching... Wondering if I should juice again or flush

100 days seems an average for AU. I've seen a couple go 120.... and it seems they never stop stretching, mine didn't. Just let her do her thing till done! the reward is all them buds!
