Harvest & Curing Drying in a brown bag

Im just to damn cheap to buy boveda's.
By the way, my buds are completely trimmed BEFORE i bag.

Me too. I trim them completely as well!

I put mine in a single layer in the bag, with buds no bigger than golf balls, fold the bag one time near the top and put them in the tent underneath a layer of reflective film (just so the lights don't directly hit the bags). I leave them for four to five days. Then I put them in the jar with Boveda 62. Great taste and perfect moisture content!

That's exactly what I have done guys the bags are just hanging in my tent with layer of golf balls sized buds. Can't wait to smoke a bit lol. Thanks for the help always get nervous around harvest

Looks good dude.keep your temp in there around 70.
If your closing that tent up, watch your humidity.
Have air moving but NOT on the bags.
Looks like a good size harvest.

One other note.
Dont panic if when you first jar it, it says 60%.
The humidity will probably come back up some after 24 hours or so when the buds even themselves out.
I've seen this in the smaller buds sometimes, the bigger buds are usually right around 70 on day 5 for me .
Besides your gonna smoke the smaller ones first !!!
While the big buds are curing !!!
And you'll find they dont taste bad at all, after only 4 days!!!

All that info taken in. I had to put my dehumidifier in there and my HR is at 50% temps are 18-20'c I have a fan on the floor blowing around nowhere near the bags!

My cheese xxl just entered it's 10 day flush, I'm gonna try paper bag drying this go round. Have always hung the plants before, but I always end up with the RH below 60%. This seems a lot more consistent, though I will miss pulling the jar length buds out.

Ive done some bigger buds , i'll say 6 inches long and 2 to 3 inches dia. And no problem there either.
Not saying it was or is smart but i have done it.
So far so good anyway because sometimes you sure like to show off a nice big fat sticky bud !!!!
