Dutch Passion DP Ultimates first

A side affect is, the warm air is better distributed, (Used To Better Effect), heat = costs right........ so better to pull it down to the floor for the benefit of the root zone temperature, better than 180w heat mats, which over dry the root..........as there is no thermostatic control to 20c-22c................ so it cooks the root at 30c.......... not good

The air exiting the 60cm in cab carbon filter recirculated air, is also treated for odours, better two carbon filters than one.... to reduce extractor fanback pressure and improve air flow, on my main carbon filter outside the grow space i use a 125mm ducting "Y" piece, with two carbon filter attached. zero risk of odour overflow, even if the relative humidity dose exeed 70%............. RH@70% the moisture in the air is high, this blocks the cintered carbon pores, preventing odour removal (Trapping)............ not worth taking a chance on, you only get nicked once .......... ALR

Then i attach two carbon filters the the "Y" piece.............. better flow, than sorry right ??......... to many people put to fast a flow through a small carbon filter, this is risky if the grow room RH moves above 75% the filter will begin to fail to remove, VOc's (Volatile Organic Compounds) "terps".......... this is not good...... i use a filter either side of the thermostatic controlled 125mm fan............ one on intake in room, two on a "Y" piece in the loft....... where my warm clean air is pumped to........... this takes the chill of the roof space in winter !! ALR

Do you have a link or show me photos how to do this?

white light, here is the outline of the internal hot air re-circulation method. grab one of these 100mm in line fans 140m3/Hr/1........ like only 16w of lecky to run it...............

http://www.fantronix.com/acatalog/In_Line_Duct_Fan_Extractor_4_dia.html

while your there grab one of these 22 quid........ carbon filter

http://www.fantronix.com/acatalog/Buddy-Hydroponic-Carbon-Filter-4-Small.html

grab some non acoustic 100mm duct, 5m..

http://www.fantronix.com/acatalog/Flexible-Ducting-White-PVC.html

costs so far 46 quid.............

you want the white duct intake end, mounted 5cm from the tent or cab ceiling, where the hot air is accumulating........

run this duct down to the floor, to the in line 16w fan, connect 100mm duct from ceiling to the "Intake" side of the fan. On the air out side of the fan connect a duct section to the fan and the carbon filter, so the fan sucks the hot air down, pushes it though the in cab floor positioned carbon filter.

The affect is, the hot air rising from the carbon filter on the floor. Pulls the cold air on the floor up with the hot air rising. This then is pulling down the hot iar onto the floor, "Warming" your root zone and pots..... at the same time, during flower, pre treats the plant respiration and terpen odors, taking a strain off the main carbon filter being used..............

So intake duct to fan intake side, duct the carbon filter to the output side of the in line fan, she suck down hot iar from cab roof, pushes out onto floor, drawing cold air up and mixing it, till it is an "Homogeneous" air temp from top to bottom in the cab.............. same temp at top as bottom... ALR

Addendum;

"leave the fan running 24/7.............. as lights out heater warm air will also need re-cuirculating to keep roots warm lights out, as well as lights on yea"........... ALR

How ya gettin on?

Its been a bad time for me lately. Waiting for this bad luck to reverse. I took out plants and started over. Do you know if ph down can harm seedlings? I am at day 3 and watered just now. I phd my wster from 8 to 6.5. It took like 7 drops for 600ml of water. Is that a lot?

Oh no! Did ya just scrap em? That ph should be fine, yea thats ok you use a less concentrated ph down is all

Hashead i should have let them and stack the new seedlings with them. I got a big tent it wouldnt be a problem :(

Hashead is it happening again? Im paranoid again. Why is this happening to me?

garden limestone i added (about 5 tbsp in 30 litres consist of 70% soil and 30% perlite)

yep burned the root, which was at way to low a temperature, run off was Ph6.8 but Ec was 4.5......... with an Ec of 4.5 !! your Ph due to stack of salt should have been higher due to over limeing light mix

Anyone out there can jump in and share some knowledge? I am dying to find out whats happening here

You had phos lockout

Id reckon your ph is a bit low for a soil grow. I usually give plain water @7ph and my runoff comes out @6.5.
Have you been testing your runoff?

good advice

Temps are 21-24C

low root and room temp conformation, root temp is one of the most important variables to keep straight

One day is climbing to 20c the next down to 17

root temp must never drop below 20-21c............ never above 26-28c

is it happening again? Im paranoid again. Why is this happening to me?

your tapwater Ec is 1.0 !!!!!!!!!!!! very salty, and will include CHLORINE !! Ph is 8.5 (after bubbling) is to high. You tap water is not suitable for feeding, to toxic from high alkalinity calcium carbonate............ and chlorine...........................
USE 1/3RD TAP WATER TO 2/3RDS BOTTLED WATER TO MAKE YOUR FEEDS WITH, WARM THAT WATER TO MATCH YOUR ROOT TEMP 21C-22C MINIMUM.............
AFTER BUBBLING THE BOTTLED WATER TO GET CO2 & OXYGEN IN, THEM WARM IT THEN ADD NUTE THEN YOU WONT NEED MUCH PH DOWN AT ALL WHITELIGHT OK....

Allmix is ok..................... you have not added the toxic lime this time,...... that good !!!, i see you have added a floor fan heater for lights out periods, is also a good move, re lights out root temp maintenance is good also..... use a nutrient only Ec of 0.6 to 0.7 for the young seedlings, there is no issue with using your 600w duel spectrum HPS in veg and flower ok.................. 36 inch above plants for a 600w is fine.................. you want a temp of 26c at the plant top ok. That gives you a root temp of 22c !!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing wrong with 20ltr pots............ to begin with you need to wet the soil columb all the way to the bottom to get the roots down there and saerching for the water.............. once wetted right through just add 1.5ltrs every other day untill day 30.....then feeding till you get run off, and leave pot to dry for 2 days post run off.........

DO NOT PULL AND KILL THESE SEEDLINGS WHITELIGHT................. I WILL BE DROPPING IN TO KEEP AN EYE ON THESE LITTLE DAMES OK................

Do not worry re the 10cm seedlings mild yellow leaves at all at this stage.......... you will nor go down the same path as the last lot you pulled (Un-Nessersarily) ok !!!.................... use bottled water mixed at the ratio i have posted.......................i'll be back in to check how they are doing................ just get your root temp up, and room temp up at 27-28c if you can, this will maintain root temp light "ON", lights out lift your heater to same temp ok...... get a "Max & Min temp gauge for your tent, to show what lights out low temp was....... as the max & min greenhouse temperature gauge stores the overnight low temp.................. for you to see in the morning ok

I will see you through to a harvest this time whitty mate ok..................... you are on your weay to harvest. You just lost 100 quid and 30 days........................ that will be the last time you ever loose that dow & time again my freind..........................see below how the phos lock up first at low and high Ph....AutoLowRyder

LowRyder thanks for giving my self a boost of confidence. Fist of all i would like to add here that i used the espoma garden lime again but only in 2 pots and this time i added almost half from what i added last time. Second i have 4 plants in airpots. 2 airpots of 20ltr and other 2 in 15ltr.
Now to the growing..I check them this morning and they looked more green after lights out. So must be the strong light giving some yellowing. I raised the light to 36 inch like you say.
To make sure i understand well, i need to have a temp 27-28c while lights on and to keep the same temp when light is off?

I am using only bottled water atm. Ph after letting it open for chlorine evaporation becomes 8 and ec 0.6.
For the record i have ordered a 2 stage filter to use on my tap water. This is the filter:
https://www.aquasana.com/drinking-water-filter-systems/under-counter-faucet-2-stage
Hopefully this will give me a tap water of EC 0.2-0.4. Fingers crossed

AutoLowRyder also i didnt understand couple of things tho.
1) When you say mix tap water with bottle water you mean distilled water? Because our drinkable bottles here are ph 7.7 and ec 0.6 average and after the aeration for the chlorine ph climbs to 8+..!
2) I should water the soil colump? What that means is to water all the pot until water runs off the pot? And then water again every other day 1.5ltr? I feel this is too much, maybe it will never dry like this? I watered 24hours ago 200ml and it still looks wet. How it will dry with 1.5ltr?
I dont understand your note with watering at all.
To make it clear in my head what i should do next?
Please note that:
-I will begin nutrients after 5 days.
-Tomorrow propably the soil will be dry on the top
My next watering it will be bubbled drinking bottled water of ph 8 ec 0.6 but i will use botanicare ph down to bring the ph to 6.5?
So how much water each plant should take? I have 4 plants 3, 4, and two of 5 days old

Hope i make sense to you guys

Lookin good to me, how old?

Hashead i have 4 plants very young. 5,4 and 3 days old.
