well its official, im a daddy!!!!! my beautiful baby girl just popped the soil today, i didnt bother taking a picture since it still has its husk on, so i will update with photos when i get home again on saturday. seed was planted sunday afternoon, so only a 3 day germ time so thats pretty good. it was a nice large seed too. only down side is that my humidity is pretty low at around 35 to 40 percent. but i dont really have a way to increase that much at this time of year. so i just grow through it. havent had any major problems to date doing it that way. if i crank up the furnace humidifier to raise rh i end up with it being to moist in my house. so ill just live with it until i notice it causing any issues. that or my hygrometer isnt readng accuratly,lol. might look into getting a larger humidifier at some point but not easy finding one that can go two days withought needing to be filled up again. ill just try and bump it up when im home by foliar spraying and regular watering. the joys of colder winter weather in canada ha ha, temps are standing great at 24 c steady so no issues with temps at least.

Well a little edit, I ended up installing my fan speed controller and turning my ventilation fan down to lowest setting. Since it's just a young sprout I don't have to worry about crazy air circulation yet. I also placed a little plastic glad contained in tent packed full of cotton balls and soaked them with water. So hopefully that combined with the much lower fan setting will bump the humidity up a bit. I'll find out when I get back. But so far I'm off to a good start.

Good luck with your grow. I grew a few cuts of dinafem's photo version last year. It was great weed all around but I still dream about that smell. I can still smell it in some of my jars overtop the bud that is in them.

I don't suppose anyone could chime in with ball park yield for dinafem blue cheese in 2 gallon pot? Just kind of curious what I might be looking at for final weight. I know it's hard to say but just looking at rough estimate. Would a couple ounces be attainable easily

its all going depend on so many things but a couple of oz a plant i would think min

just keep things simple and be careful not to overfeed is the main the main thing and you will be golden less food is better than to much slow and steady wins the race

well good day all, time for a little grpw update. plant is now 4 days from popping the soil, ive atta ched a few pics. so far its looking good, a nice stretch on it and first little leaves. my lights is currently around 30-36 inches above plant, temps are sitting at 26c and my R/H is sitting low at 30%. nothing i try seems to be able to maintain a higher humidity. i thank the onset of our canadian winter. So its looking like this girl is just going to have to grow through the lower humnidity. ill spray a little water in tent and on plant when i can. but not much else i can do aside from wait till spring and rising natural humidity.. but all said plant seems to be strong and healthy so far. i think i might look at germinating another seed in 2 or 3 weeks. or around the end of month one. havent fully decided when yet.

low humidy isnt the pain high humidity can be.i think there are a few guys here that grow at altitude or something,they wobble around the 30% mark with no side efffects 2 oz from 2 gal should be wee buns
