No worries man. I respect and appreciate the advice. And your very right about it. And I'm probably going to look at following your training on my next grow or a variation of it. Hopefully you'll stick around and see how things go.

Don't suppose you mind if I ask what those failures were? Just curious in case it's something I need to watch out for.

Not at all my mate..:toke:..I basically was transplanting my plants dude...starting them off in a small pot then transplanting to a bigger when ready.......and this is no good with auto's really...:cuss:....I was reading too much about growing and trying loads of things my own way, trying to get my own spin on things and be the one with the new technique..:yoinks::yoinks:...but @autobeast set me straight so props to him dude.....there are certain sets of rules that we must follow to grow auto's well and planting the seed in the final pot was one of them I learned....there are, of course ways to transplant an auto and grow her well, I did it with success for a while but I was just lucky..:shooty:..in the final pot is safest..:woohoo:. @912GreenSkell uses/devised a really good way with slits in the solo cup, that you might have seen dude.....anyway I hope this helps dude:smiley1:

Yes I am familiar with the solo cup with the slots cut in it. I've personally just always planted into final pot myself as well. And I germinate in the soil as well. I just find it easier. And now I'm really second guessing mainlining this thing to 4 Colas. I'm almost feeling it's a damn good waste of star genetics lol. I think I might just grow it similar to you. Just top once and create a manifold like you. I've never trained a plant the way you have. I've topped before. But your kind of mixing topping and manifold training. I like your method as it allows for lots of light penetration. If I'm right it looks like after you create initial manifold you then train the side branches horizontally out and up as well? I might have to look to you for some tips. And if I remember right you said you top at third node? Do you count your initial cotekadons as first node or first actual set of leaves as first. I've always topped at third myself, but I count from first set of true single leaves.

Sorry for all the questions. Your method definitely intrigues me. I'm hoping when I get home tomorrow to see a young sprout. If so I'll update when I get home.

I have so much thinking to do now. There's definitely a little interest in the double topping. So I might still do it for those interested. Or I might grow this one similar to you and save the double topping for one of my other freebie auto cheese seeds

Locked in with you bro. Interested to see how it takes the two toppings.

Glad to have you along for the ride hurricane. Though now I'm having second thoughts about the mainline on this seed. Might wait and do it on one of my freebies later. I'll make a final decision when the time comes to top. Either way glad to have you on board
