hey thanks for the good words guys, i was thinking myself that low humidity is better then high humidity. its creeped up to about 35 35 pecent now. so that will have to do. ill be sure to post an update when i get back. so far things are looking good.

yeah, actually i decided for this forst plant not to double top it. since i hvent grown this strain before i got to thinking one topping will do till i get an idea of how plant grows. so its going to be more of a regular standard grow

It’s probably a better idea anyway mate, ngl i’m with @Vapo69 that double topping isn’t really necessary when you can just remove lower bud sites and LST and get similar results, but still would have been cool to see what happens

still here anyway lol a desire to experiment is good enough to draw me in

well im glad to have you on board for the grow! im kind of a noob but enjoying learning. and im currently running 2 viparspectra 300 reflector series lamps. just upgraded to the second light for added power

ah i only asked because you asked about light distancing and i’m an LED user who’s a new grower myself but been helping others for a while and done quite a bit of research.
i have a future lighting 300w LED panel with almost identical specs and the recommended distancing for a 300w reflector like that is generally 12-20inches depending on what your trying to accomplish light training wise but at that stage i’d be looking at keeping the light as far as possible while minimising stretching.
if unsure keep the light further though, easier to fix stretching that light stress and it’s easy done with LED.
I’ve stuck with those guidelines and have had good results so far

well heres an update on my grow for all watching. plant is 11 days old today. i have started it on an 8th strength feeding, i lowered my lights from 36 inches to 24 inches, temp in tent is 26C and my RH is sitting at 35%. this plant definitly seems to have a slower start to it comparted to others ive grown. but ive heard thats pretty normal fir this plant, and that its focusing on roots and eventually takes off pretty hard. i look forward to seeing what the next week has in store for this girl. it definitly appears to have some fat wide leaves.
as always ive attached a few quick shots , and feel free to post and comment on anything. always like feedback.

Nah dw mate that’s absolutely fine, i personally have my seedlings 14inches from the reflector if they show stretching and they love it

well it appears the plant likes the lower light height, can already see a growth improvment since yesterday. though it could be liking a fresh watering and a light feeding as well, ha ha. looking happy anyway.
