Yeah, im really excited about this one, cant wait to the night where my girls will finally let me undress them and make sweet smokin' love, hmmm... harmony.. this strain has shown me that with all the bad things i've heard about it whilist growing it, it was nothing but fun and amazing fast development, they smell amazing, not too strong but certainly noticble.. even with the carbon filter the place stinks like abit of lemon skunk and something that reminds me of NL in some way. with more space and lighting these specimens would have been much much better.. considering its such a small grow-space im proud of how they did.. gonna go with coco-perlite next time probably... or stick with soil if i get a good space..

cupcake i'm drooling over your budded up garden! good work and hope you enjoy harvesting your own smoke soon and ya that is some color you got going there. odd considering the genetics, but thats part of the fun of growing from seed. sometimes new phenos appear and your never really sure what your going to get till its done

if yer thinking of chopping early, maybe take just a top cola and leave the lower buds to mature.

looks like i'll get an early sample of my tall easy ryder too, one of the secondary buds almost snapped off yesterday while moving plants around to chop the white russian. its still on plant now but i think i might, just snip it off so the wife can try both strains

riz, I don't see myself chopping in parts and letting lower buds to matre.. too scared that it wont ''work as intended'' and might ruin the plant as a whole

Really no problem in doing that. Not all parts of the plant mature at the same time. Most of the time the main cola will mature first. It won't hurt the plant, or the yield, to cut it first and leave the rest till it's fully mature. I do that often, especially if I've seeded a branch. It often takes another 1-2 weeks for the seeds to fully mature so I just cut everything except that branch.

great grow Cupcake real nice did you ever sort out your ph prob...im kinda havin the same watering at 6.7-8 and coming out at 5.8-9..no signs of probs on the plant but would rather it higher. Yeah you can cut the top and leave the rest to ripen may do that 4 sure on on Chronics Ryd as I need seeds to mature..+ rep on your first grow Enjoy!

looking sweet cupcake. i definately site harvest on my plants too. as long as you aren't growing 100 plants at a time, i think it pays to cut mature sites and leave the others to ripen and sugar up for you. if you're in it for production and profit....chop the whole plant down at once. otherwise, for the true weed snobs like me, a few sites at a time! bud taking won't harm the remaining plant. happy harvesting.
