Indoor Copacabana, Muay Thai, Love Potion LED tent grow

Thanks, brother scally420, I'm stoked with the finish all around, I would always like to do better but I think I've gained a lot here through experience and I'm very happy with the results. I'll try to improve from here next time.

Awesome yield on the Devil Mediscrogs.
You really know how to grow some beautiful bud.

Hey G Reefer, thanks again for the props. I'm going to give credit to the great summer weather we had here for the outdoor results. Also the Sea Grow line of nutes has seemed to work really well, just careful not to overdo it. I'd be willing to run those nutes again but I might change up next time just to try something different, I'm still thinking about what I would like the next run to look like.

Here's some Copacabana root porn:

She got the axe finally last night. A lot of small fans to trim but overall it's a big haul. I'll put up a finished weight after she's dried.

I did discard some decent chunks here and there that had some caterpillar damage inside the bud, leaving their poop as they munched and in a few spots even caused the beginning of rot in those places. At least I know what they've been eating, but I didn't want any of that in my bowl. I did not feel so bad about discarding the bad parts as the majority of the haul was healthy, heavy and well flushed. There was a lot of bud on her.

Weather looking to stay cool/humid at night, rain etc, so I'm bringing the Sour Bubbly down tonight as well, I feel like it's going to be a losing battle with rot and caterpillars at the door if I persist. The tops are mostly looking done anyways, or at least close enough.

The lower third of the plant looks definitely immature, but there is some resin on every bud. I'll see how things start trimming out and decide whether or not to leave some lowers a bit longer.

Here's some bud pics on her:

She's got a very sweet gum smell, fruity as well, very pleasant. She was getting Sugaree the last few weeks of feeding so that may have contributed to the aroma as the smell is very similar. Definitely an inviting smell. I'm looking forward to trying more gear from Mephisto next round under better growing conditions.

Thanks again for stopping by :bong:

Had a helper tonight, thankful for that! Phew!

The Sour Bubbly looks completely excellent, the top 2/3rds of the plant. The lowers are still on the plant, ran out of steam to do it all as every bud needs to be broken down piece by piece and checked for caterpillar scat before going to paper bags. Probably finish the lower 1/3rd tomorrow due to weather.

90% perfectly fine, throwing out 8-10%. The goods are super sticky, like double sticky, with nice clean pink colors inside at the base and purple crowns, beautiful smell. Totally top notch genetics.

I'm not partial to any particular brand/breeder of seeds, as I like variety. I would still like to try Dutch Passion, more Sweet Seeds, Dinafem and that Fastbuds Blackberry is just callin' my name. The Flash gear has proven high quality so far as I happened to grow three of their strains this round, and would like to try more.

That being said, there is just something about that Mephisto Sour Bubbly that makes me want to grow a LOT more of their strains. I've heard nothing but raves here on AFN about Mephisto gear and I think I'm getting a glimpse of why that is. I can't wait to try a taste of her, I haven't had a nibble yet, but she really is the icky stickiest of the crop without any doubt.

Muay Thai also came down tonight at finish of day 112. Incense aroma starting to autumn out slightly compared to yesterday so I think a good full range of medical goodies is in her now.

:meds:

Her buds don't look super pretty. They are huge sized, but not much outward frost. Yet they are dense and weigh at least double in your hand what you think they should. Heavy heavy heavy.

The buds are hanging in the tent for a bit to dry before bagging. Still need just minimal trimming of a few fans. Trimmers dream.

I peeled open everything and could not find any rot whatsoever, confirming earlier periodic checks.

I cannot be any happier with her than that--just amazing performance from this plant with less than optimal treatment.

:baked: Baked and tired out now, another late night. Just couldn't wait to share the good news. :coco:

Well done Mediscrogs
So awesome harvests, i bet your fingers are sore.
looking forward to seeing the dry weight.

Yeah, man, it's been exhausting. I'm not the fastest trimmer either.

I'm thinking the Thai is more than 200g, there are two rows of branches hanging in the tent, I think I didnt' show that very well in the above pics. They are just ridiculously heavy buds. Copa probably a bit under 200, maybe 180ish, just a guess.

Awesome harvest again.... Great job this round brother.... excellent growing

Thanks, atrain, it's been a very good harvest and have really learned a ton from this experience. I set my expectations low at the outset because things can always go wrong. I've definitely exceeded my goals and am excited for the next round this winter to try some new strains and some new methods. I think I've learned more from this grow than any previous attempt.

Thanks again for stopping by and thanks for the kudos. I'm proud to show some beautiful plants this go.
