Hi everyone!
I just started my latest grow. I’ve done a few autos before both indoor and outdoor but not for a couple of years.
This season I will be growing 4 plants in soil on my balcony. My balcony is not super private so I’ll have to be stealthy when they get larger. I’m growing lots of other fruits and veggies so I’ll try to blend them in.
My set up is 4x 5 gallon pots with Promix organic potting soil with an extra ~20% perlite. I’ve used this simple mix in the past and have not had any issues. Not going to bother with any nutes for a couple weeks.
My strains are 3x Haze XXL (Dinafem) and 1x Cheese (Canuk Seeds). They are both feminized.
I germinated the seeds using the paper towel method before planting them into their pots. I chose to put the directly in the 5 gallons so I don’t have to worry about transplanting.
So far they are doing well. They have all sprouted and are looking good so far. I live in British Columbia Canada so it’s still quite cold so I bring them in every night. While inside at night, I use 18w led on each seedling just for a little extra love.
The only thing is I forgot to PH balance before planting. Right now it’s sitting at 7.9. Is it ok to start watering with ph balanced water now? Or should I wait until they are a little bigger?
Here are photos from today. Day 3 - weather: overcast and rainy
Any help or advice is appreciated!
Thanks,
Becca
