Spring-Summer Grow -- Maria's Haze Heaven Hacienda!

Day 204: 135V + 69F

Still quite cloudy with touches of light rain.
Very cool for Oct, down to 25C/22C today.
Sun and temps will be back in a couple of days!

Right: one re-veg Grail Project (NLD pheno)

Almost all fan leaves gone by now, except tops of the two SSSTN phenos.
The three broken stems/colas -- taller Grail x ThaiFrican main stem, two big SSSTN colas -- are not very happy or healthy. They are losing leaves faster, less flower growth, more yellowing.
But the other non-broken colas / tops are still in good color and health.

First, 'Fluffy' pheno:

Seven small Super Silver Sour Thai Neville (Sticky pheno) x ThaiFrican seed plants

Interesting assorted mix of phenos, for sure!
They're more exposed to the light now.
Most are smaller bud-sticks, but a couple are getting longer and taller and bigger.
PXL_20241010_052439689.jpg

Pheno on right looks like a 'Pearl' candidate!
PXL_20241010_052458125.jpg

Maybe too much N or water for this girl.
Osmocote on her shoes?
Or just the SSSDH from mom shining thru?

PXL_20241010_052503689.jpg

Interesting pheno, looks nice.
Two blurry phenos in behind are taking their time and getting a lot bigger.
(Top of pic is prob their sibling by another mother, the Grail x ThaiFrican tall pheno -- same dad.)

Tall pheno of Grail Project (fast pheno) x ThaiFrican

The main stem cola, badly broken, but still hanging in there.
PXL_20241010_052317623.jpg

Lower big branch below the break point, much healthier!
PXL_20241010_052322878.jpg

Lots of smaller but chunky buds like this on her.
PXL_20241010_052346222.jpg

Another lower branch top.
PXL_20241010_053145327.jpg

Same cola but with some funky street art!

Medium pheno of Grail Project (fast pheno) x ThaiFrican
PXL_20241010_052354895.jpg

Main top of this girl is a little disappointing at this point.
Very leafy, small small calyxes.
But still some time to go, and things will change.
PXL_20241010_052404689.jpg

Re-vegged Grail Project (NLD pheno)

Much chunkier looking that first time with her.

Another cola.

Day 217: 135V + 82F

It's been cloudy, wet and windy.
Temps from daily high/low around 27C/22C.
The main gate is still broken, so access is quite easy.

Edit: for the dates/times for these seedlings, not the big plants.
Started on June 6.
They just kind of stayed stuck in tiny pots for many many weeks, neglected by me...
84 days = 12 weeks veg, but in effect more like 4 weeks or so.
Then planted out here.
Showed sex from August 21, 5 out of 7 by start of September, last one by about September 15.
Let's say Sept 1 for an average start day for them to calculate.
Gives us...

Day 139: 84V + 55F

Seven Super Silver Sour Thai Neville x ThaiFrican seed plants

Start a bit different today, show each of these girls for the first time.
They obviously aren't at 82 days flowering!

Quite a nice balanced structure on this one:

PXL_20241022_062847231.jpg

Yep, looks like the pearl pheno came through the cross:
PXL_20241022_062855250.jpg

A slim one:
PXL_20241022_062901078.jpg

Chunkier and solid here:
PXL_20241022_062912623.jpg

Medium balanced pheno:

I really like the look of this one, too:

(Poor photo!) larger pheno with good shape:

Super Silver Sour Thai Neville (Fluffy pheno, re-veg)

PXL_20241022_062953996.jpg

Doesn't have the rounded shape like first time.
I think that was a response to the then-increasing light cycles.
Now she's more like a slimmer finer version of Sticky.

Her top 30" are very nice, and thickening up now.

This is the big lower cola, getting very chunky now.

Lots of medium and smaller tops on this girl.

Forecast for crappy weather for another few days or more.
Temps won't be so low as now, though, will be high 20s C.
But I'm sure the sun will be back out again after that.

Last post was last Wednesday, and the typhoon came down that night and Thursday.
It was a monster this time, and my area around has a lot of big trees down, that iron fence is all smashed up, we last power and internet on Thursday night, and there was a fair amount of rain but not huge.
Luckily it passed fast, and Friday was just a cloudy day with a drop of rain.
That wind was fierce!

Then I got sick again, and have been in the hospital since the weekend.
That's why I haven't posted for a while, cause the internet here is filtered, haha!
I'll be here for a while longer, too.

Was worried about the plants, in the semi-dark, and while it's not hot, after a while they'll still need watering.
Found out it's possible to get 'leave' from the hospital (I had other things I needed to do, too).
So managed to get to the garden yesterday (Monday) and pull them out, plus a quick water.
I couldn't put all the ropes back, so there's just one guiding rope on the south,
and they're all kind of hanging over that for now.

This is a rough update, with three quick pics.

Spring-Summer Grow -- Maria's Haze Heaven Hacienda!

Day 230: 135V + 95F

Wow, day 95 flower already, is ... 13.5 weeks for the Grail x ThaiFrican, and maybe 12.5 weeks for the other girls -- SSSTN and the Grail.
They are hitting the harvest window.
Haven't had any time at all to prep my hangers, but it won't take much.
Whereas before I was planning for several big plants, now the volume of flower is much less.

Super Silver Sour Thai Nevilles
PXL_20241104_083439046.jpg

This is 'Sticky', no pic of 'Fluffy' who looks similar, just a bit slimmer.
Weird, how did that happen? Last time 'Fluffy' had big puffy rounded buds, now she's skinnier?!?!
Just these two main colas -- one each, but they are a decent size at least.

Grail (fast pheno) x ThaiFrican
PXL_20241104_083509199.jpg

This is a cola at the back, she still has a few more, plus that damaged main cola that's still hanging in there (and almost hanging down to the ground...)

Grail (NLD pheno)
PXL_20241104_083452713(1).jpg

The Grail buds got quite full in shape in the end.
And this girl has a number of colas like this one here, plus little ones everywhere, too.

These poor plants, they look like they've been to hell and back!
As I said earlier, their calyx growth is strange, all very small.
But I can see the trichome development is still there.
I'm just going to let them roll along for now, they still have some growing in them, as you can see.

Seven SSSTN (Sticky) x ThaiFrican
Meanwhile, the little SSSTN (Sticky) x ThaiFrican seed-stock plants look so cool!
Yes, they're all so small, as expected, but their flower growth looks normal (compared to the big girls).
And they all look like they have some serious stickiness to them.
The 'Pearl' pheno is branching off everywhere like crazy, a couple are quite tight (for hazy sativas), and a couple are in-between, one is looking haggard, with one getting a fair bit bigger and slower.
So there's going to be some nice flower from these girls too.
Just such a pity I had seven/seven girls from those seeds, and not one boy for pollen...

I will just have to try again next round!

Peace and Love,
~MJS

Dang! Sounds like you and your plants are having a rough time. Hope you all recover. Don't forget to take good care of yourself. If you go down then no one can check on your plants! Seriously though, if it's bad enough for the hospital don't take it too lightly. Just speculating but things like walking pneumonia are way more dangerous than people think.

Filtered internet eh? No VPNs available over there? I"m sure you're probably more tech savvy than I but, would a burner phone with a VPN be an option? I've got one I use exclusively for the forum while I'm at work. Cost me $20 and I pulled the sim card so it's wifi only. Unless VPN downloads are blocked too... hmm....

Guess you would have to find a friend on the web you trust enough to drop a preloaded burner to you. Although, if they are doing that stuff they are probably tight on customs. Have to find someone who travels to a common country and leave a stash of preloaded phones in a secure location. International secret agent style. Hahaha

Hi Entombed!
Thanks for the visit. :)
I'm getting better, slowly but surely.
It's just the hospital 'net that's the issue, I can use phone data and get around it, via TOR browser as usual.
Hope the sun comes out soon, it's been too long of cloudy weather.
Such a wet and cloudy, even a bit cold, October and now into November.
They need a bit of sun at the end to go out with a shine!

Spring-Summer Grow -- Maria's Haze Heaven Hacienda!

Luckily I could get in from the bat cave side.
Though there are only about 10 bats left.
Maybe they left with that last nasty typhoon.

Temps around 18C-21C low/high.
Wet, raining on and off, cloudy.
Extremely humid, around 90% +/-.

Day: 82F - 90F

Seven SSSTN (Sticky) x ThaiFrican

Let's start with these little ones.
Six photos of seven plants.
One just ... not so photogenic, shall we say?!

PXL_20241121_004954083.jpg

This is a faster SSSDH dominant plant.
I cut her today, and she's now drying right next to me.
Pics below.

PXL_20241121_005000312.jpg

More open pheno, maybe from the Thai side.
(But I don't know what the Karibe looks like.)
She's gonna take a while yet, still mostly white pistils.

PXL_20241121_005005863.jpg

The pearl pheno, still rolling along.

PXL_20241121_005024025.jpg

Later but balanced pheno here, I quite like!

PXL_20241121_005035280.jpg

The slowest flowering on this girl.
Also looking very promising!

Back to the SSSDH dom pheno that I just cut.
Faster means smaller in this case.
But good flower development, and she has a great diesel stank, haha!

PXL_20241121_011600022.jpg

Tasty!
PXL_20241121_011611218.jpg

Spark it up!

Spring-Summer Grow -- Maria's Haze Heaven Hacienda!

Day 380: (re-veg) 145V + 101F

Grail (NLD pheno)

14.5 weeks flower for this lady.
Great effort.
She was in the smallest pot, so most prone to drying out.
But she took the typhoon and wind the best.
Kept shorter, with many colas.
Lost a few, but three big ones left.
I cut two of those today (top of one needed to be removed),
and am leaving the last big cola on the plant for a bit more time.
She has lots of other smaller side colas and buds, too.
