Indoor Autos in Organic Soil with Tap Water

Hey Mozzy when you dry lying the buds down like that do you flip them everyday so they don't get flat sides or what is your method there? Btw she turned out to be a beautiful beast of a plant! :d5:

I used to but then I realized I don't really care what it looks when I squish or grind and vape it :baked:, but I know it can matter for some folks.

Thanks  ...I accidentally grew a bunch of auto-fem seeds from that strain a while back so I'll probably grow one or two a year, but wish I had the space to let one go full-growth, it'd be massive :vibe:

Day 81 PG - DLI~40; and 84 Day DZ - 139g
Emptied the dryer after ~4-5 days of high 40sRH and low 70sF, trimmed the buds from the branches, and we’re left with ~5oz of the 84 day Dessert Seeds Lemonderz Autoflower (DZ):

When removing the DZ from the tent for harvest, I adjusted the light and things for just the PG remaining, had temp/environment issues, and removed the driver from the tent for heat reasons but had inadvertently clicked the dimmer toggle so the light was 100% and way too close for a day or two before rectifying 🤦‍♀️…after lots of hoopla we’re now at ~62% on the light dimmer, ~24” away from the tops at 19/5, and roughly 40 DLI at the peak of the canopy (likely for the remainder) with ~50% RH, and high 70s+F most of lights-on:

I’ve had great root development in the GroBuckets, but nothing like that! Outstanding! Do you find covering the bucket helps cut down on watering!
That is consistently what all of mine look like...I believe the aeration of the reservoir from day 1 contributes to the root development :growing:

Covering helps a little with RH in the tent but seems to have little impact on the water consumption which can be significant during veg/flowering

Mozzy! What's the longest you've gone without adding nutrients to the roots organic lush?
Until I was ready to chop based on trichomes, etc...? Maybe 16 weeks seed-to-harvest in the current SIPs I use. Keep in mind I butcher mine for size/environment reasons and intentionally won't grow anything that'll produce over 4-5oz each.

Awesome my bag finally got here yesterday so I'll be trying it out next run. We shall see how it goes 😁

Nice, I've successfully used it for ~7 strains (not including progeny), from 3 breeders, so I hope it works out for you...I found it locally for less than $20 a bag so it's been really nice to grow easy autos for ~$1 in organic soil plus tap water, per ounce harvested

I had to go Amazon for $40 but water only through harvest is worth the money! Allows me to run 2 plants in soil and 2 plants in coco comfortably. Can't beat $1 an ounce :headbang:

Sorry you have to ship soil, but agreed :baked:...I started out growing so simple, and got dialed in to produce better quality than I can buy at medical dispensaries (at pennies on the dollar), that I don't know how to bottle feed or what would motivate me to buy or do anything else
