RocBud Auto Grape Slurri in Sohum Living Soil

Ladies looking lovely..what are you thoughts on the soil?

Would you say the sales pitch is accurate with them so far?

Hard to say exactly. I'd say their sales pitch is water only. With 3 gallon pots I don't think it's possible. I ended up too dressing a few weeks back because they plants really look like they needed it. If you were growing in 5-7 gallon pots Id say it's definitely possible. 3 gallons might be be possible but this was my first time with living soil.

The "best practices" link on SoHum's site has a chart on how big of a pot to use for the life of the plant. Im running 5 gallon pots, hoping its enough still for autoflowers, using the Autoflower "best practices" Still I used a light mix Happy Frog/ ME Coco pearl in more than 50% of the pot. I have heard even Happy Frog could be too hot to start the plants. I will say yours looks amazing. I hope to get my plants to look like that.

I'm subbed up n watching mate... Great looking grow, I've just moved my whole tent over to sohum, its transformed every plant into healthy stunners so reading through your grow has been great so thanks for that mate...looking forward to more

Keep it coming
RSB :smoking:

I've noticed a lit longer stalks of the trichomes on several Roc crosses.

Yup I've noticed this as well. I've got cannacheese from mephisto right next to it. Tons of frost but some of the trichs are Roc'S strains are twice as tall.

Appreciate the kind words. I did straight sohum this go around. Planning something different for this next go around...
Check this video out, pretty much what I'm doing this time

Day 80 or 81
Been slacking a little here but here is an update on the grape slurri. Looks like they are ready to come down, theyll be hung up to dry this weekend.

The two pictured are the best 2 out of 3

I ended up hanging the first Slurri pictured above first(Day 82) and let the other ones go a little longer (Day 89 and 91). I typically stagger my harvests a week or so in-between to give my hands a break an to test differences in letting different strains go longer(more amber) and how some handle being harvested earlier (less amber).

I'm honestly surprised they went this long. I'm very very happy with the yields though. For such small plants they pack heavy colas.

Again these plants were small was mostly my fault. I believe it was because I planted them into pure sohum and they didn't like the excess nitrogen.

The first Slurri came to a total of 70.68 grams! Not bad for a plant that was only 17 inches tall. I suspect out of the other 2 plants one will weigh more and one will weigh less. Knowing what I know now about my soil I'm confident if I ran this strain again I could easily pull 3-4 per plant.

Here are a few bud shots, I'll get more after some curing takes place!
