Indoor Anthro's Perpetual Grow Vol 2, Organic, LED, Autos, Fun!

Suddenly, the Skywalker Kush is looking awesome! Guess it liked the flush, and the tea, and the dolomite. The spots on the leaves is just the organic CalMag from the foliar feeding, it's not hurting anything there. Also had to raise the lights again lol, it literally grew into the light overnight. I think it's really close to a metre tall now. Finally starting to show some trichomes also... I was almost about to cut it and just move on with the next round... But it's suddenly looking like it can make some decent herb. So, she lives for now.

I think it's now my biggest plant yet so far! : )

Day 114 of the photoperiods, Skywalker Kush, Tangerine Dream, and CritSSH... good grief these take a long time. Probably 3 more weeks yet till done too. And they're not making 2x what an auto would, which they theoretically should if spending 2x the time. So lame.. I think this is my last go of photoperiods until I have a separate tent for them. I'm losing a ton of time and energy now, meanwhile it's locked up the tent because it'd be dumb to start a fresh batch of autos under 12/12, they'd just be doomed to be midgets.

Day 115: The troubled Skywalker Kush is definitely recovered!

The cola is finally looking awesome, and finally got some trichomes forming. She's way late, it's supposed to be 8~9 weeks (56~63 days) from first flower. If my notes are correct, it's day 64 in flower, with at least a couple weeks left to go. :/

HARVEST time for the Delicious Seeds brand Critical Super Silver Haze photoperiod. It did pretty well, I wasn't hoping for anything besides building some photoperiod experience with these. This is the smallest one of the three though. Probably a good quarter oz on there, maybe .3oz.

Remember though I took these directly to 12/12, so only got a couple weeks of veg time. It probably could have gone another week too, but it wasn't going to make noticeably more, and the cola trichs were going amber. So I decided to call it and snip snip.

For a freebie bean, it did okay. It was always the healthiest, despite the small size. I don't know if I'd buy these beans, but if you're a fan of Super Silver Haze then they might be a good option.

Remaining two photoperiods looking fine and getting yummy lookin!

Skywalker Kush: it's cola is getting serious now. It's cola is taking on that type of shape like a bowling pin, skinny on top, fat in the middle, and rounded at the bottom.

The camera doesn't do it justice unfortunately.. Here's some mid cola:

Verrry leafy this strain, not a lot of the easy fan leaves either, there's a thousand of the tiny trim leaves all up in the flowers lol. Gonna be a chore to trim! Finally rocking the glistening trichomes, better late than never lol

Side buds looking okay, a few good nugs at the big branch tips but otherwise mostly like 1-bowl popcorns aside from the main cola.

A few pistils turning now (at the correct time this time yayy lol).

Barney's Farm Tangerine Dream coming along alright, it's nothing epic in terms of how the yield is shaping up, but the trichomes and terpenes & smells are mos def on point! I'm not sure if it's related to Blue Dream genetically, but it does have a similar structure, similar low yield, and similar trichome layout and density. But citrusey.
Cola looking yummy:

Side buds on this strain are very high quality! Again not the biggest, but do appear of much better overall quality compared to many.

Ya know somethin, I think there's more trichomes on the leaves on this one than the calyxes haha! This strain would provide a very good hash run of the trim, if you're into that. Mine just go straight into the paper bag to dry and then right into canna coconut oil capsules.

I love the laissez-fair style to your grow! Having a good soil mix that you trust to do the job must play a big part in that? Accumulated supply of buds probably helps too. Lol Nice work.

Thanks argonaut, yep it's laissez-faire up in my garden. I pretty much let the plants just grow themselves and study them. Next round is going to be rather more exciting! I'll be doing the KindSoil test and experimenting with a few modified Hempy style cups.

Everything is going well currently, just mainly waiting and watching. The Crit SSH cut the other day is still drying, RH has been high lately.

The Skywalker Kush is doing well, picking up mass and trichomes. The main cola is getting wayyy overcrowded lol, it's got buds coming out of buds now... I think it's on track to be my single plant yield record.

Crowded cola problems lol:

Mid buds even getting more dense too:

Side bud at branch tips are shaping up nice, maybe a joint or two on each, more than my usual! Otherwise it's going to be 1-bowl popcorns down low.

Tangerine Dream is alright.. Nothing exciting, it should have made much more, it got all the same stuff as the others but just didn't perform stellar. Turns out it was a 2010 Cannabis Cup winner! Other reviewers also noted low yields. This one would do well in a whole floor SOG style in like 2gal buckets. As a single plant, it was not the best use of resources and time. That's okay though, we're all learning some stuff. : )

Smells great though! Citrusy - Pine - Earthy - and Herbal.

Thanks Anthro! I know I learned a lot of stuff reading this thread. I have the same sized tent as you and I am having a major problem with my first grow in it. I am growing four O.G. Kush and they are about to blow the tent up! Do you normally grow your autos under 12/12 after an abbreviated grow period? Sounds like a good way to be able to grow 4-5 plants and not have to worry about running out of room. Lower yields but more plant cycles?
Thanks again.

No these last three are photoperiods, I'm terrible at photos and am just building some experience with them. Autos I do either 18/6 or 19/5 sometimes. The tent is usually packed with autos but I wanted to get some more photo experience and wasn't sure how big they'd get. I could've ran a few more autos in there and filled out the space more. I do struggle with low yields a lot, because often in organics the yields are smaller, and I'm missing some magic in the root zone.

Doing everything right, and the autos are always super healthy, but I don't yet quite have the roots correct, no matter how much money or myco I throw at it lol. I'm changing everything up next round though, when these lazy photoperiods are finally done. I'll get some big auto plants eventually figured out haha.
