Indoor Anthro's Perpetual Grow Vol 2, Organic, LED, Autos, Fun!

The Mephisto Sour Crack is looking wonderful! Crystal city

Quick chop harvest pics from a few days ago, already in jars. These are the two autos from this round, nothing special in terms of size, but they're under 12/12 pretty much the whole time. So they were going to be small, no big deal.

(The 3 photoperiods were the main focus of this round anyways, they have a good bit of time to go still, and I gotta wait those out before I can drop in the next round of all autos. You don't want to put newborn autos under 12/12 lighting schedule or they'll be doomed to be micro midgets.)

Mephisto brand Sour Crack auto, organic, under 12/12.
Estimated 5~7 Grams

Had a cool twin-split-branch mutation I'd never seen before! Look at that!

Estimated 4 grams :/

Still beautiful! This strain does NOT like 12/12 at allll. Actually Red Poison likes up around 19 on.

Great colors under the skirt as usual.

All for now! Photoperiod waiting game continues... not much else to say until they get up close to chop time.

Update on the photoperiods: well, one looks beautiful and two are crap. First I thought the slow leaf death was normal aging, now suddenly I'm thinking it's a deficiency. Maybe looks like Magnesium even though it's getting plenty, I gotta dig up my charts. This is the second Skywalker Kush that's just collapsed on me. It's making me look bad lol. No trichomes, very few buds, dying fan leaves, and the pistils are all turning like it's about to be done... Bud it should have 30x more flower mass.. And trichomes lol.

Ughh! Well here's the beauty babe, a couple aged leaves but it really is almost done so that makes sense. The smallest plant yet most flower mass.

Halfway dumb looking Tangerine Dream... Geez I'm just not as good with photoperiods yet. I swear I'm a much better grower than this lol. Also has a couple fans that I thought were going necro from age, and it is a bit more mature than the SKush, but now suddenly I'm thinking she has the same def. just not as bad. Crappy bud production yet 2.5 feet tall lol.

And the Skywalker Kush that I'm ready to feed to some animals lol. Almost 3ft tall. I did do some gentle tying out of the lower limbs just to get some more light on them, nothing strong handed.

That's all for today. It's kinda depressing lol. Auto's seem to just love my setup, while photoperiods not so much. I'll get it sorted eventually. :)

Phosphorous(P)
Phosphorous deficiency symptoms include; red stems and slow, stunted, or deformed growth but also include darker green lower leaves as well as leaves that may yellow then die. Adding a organic fertilizer containing Phosphorous can fix this problem but, while improvement to damaged areas may not show, newer growth will appear normal.

Yeah it very well might be, I'm digging through mine too. It might be too much of something, and I might have had a pH drop going into flower too. Being organic it keeps itself around 6.2 and I don't test it much but something could've dropped it.

Ah, yes I saw that P pic too and it might be P, but I don't have any deformity. It should be getting good P with floer nutes, but still could be. It might be locked out too if I did have a pH swing. Shoulda tested it today during lights on..

i was thinking that it may be lock out. those nutes should have what you need but if there was a swing it may have locked out the P. Would explain the lack of trics too, the P helps the buds as well as the trics form. Its all part of the "fruiting" process if you will.

---brudda's Anthro' and FD! :pass:.... sorry to see the troubles--I know how you feel mate! ....first thing first, a solid pH reading is called for: drop the A8 unit in there, with the soil nice and moist, and the (snicker) business end of it is well polished with the pad -- knock any oxidized crud off- :eyebrows:... and let it sit a few mins.,...
... looking at the symptoms, hmmmm... this looks like more than one thing maybe, or atypical symptoms; P defc. fits best, particularly with those wide, unspotted necrotic patches, but the pattern of yellowing/wasting and brown-out from mid-rib outwards is weird! So, that diagnosis gets an asterisk,... I don't see tell-tale purpling of petioles either, at least on the Sky, but maybe on the TD?... Deformity isn't always consistent that I see, beyond what dying tissues can do often,... Unless you bombed them both with serious bat poo's, I don't think toxicity is in play; no tip/edge burn, no signs of other co-defc.'s (like Zn, Fe,..Ca, Mg), new growth looks okay,... What do you have going for micronute's, Zn in particular? Sub-defc. levels of that can slow P utilization way down too,... ***.... digging into other possibles,.... fully organic,... how stout was that top dressing? I wonder if a sort of delayed, then sudden release of availables happened, and as you speculated, got some wonky pH drifting? Both look the same in build and current symptoms, hinting at something else longer term they don't like 'tall,... You know, I bet @A4 might have some insight, or @Eyes on Fire.... Anyway, let's see what the pH is,....:smoking:

Well, it gets more confusing, kinda. The Skywalker Kush is definitely in trouble, and by these readings it's a miracle it's gone well so far.

Took the A8, cleaned it up well, took six reading around the pot down to a middle depth:
7.0, 6.9, 7.0, 6.9, 6.8, 7.0 So, not terrible but it should certainly be half a digit lower.

I almost called it done but I had suddenly had a theory that it had a much higher pH down at the bottom (3 gallon pot) So I jammed the A8 alll the friggin way down and took four very scary readings:
4.8, 6.0, 5.6, 4.2 Yikes. At those readings it must only be a miracle of all the bennies I have packed in there that it's even alive at all.

---
So the Tangerine Dream is kinda crappy looking but not nearly as bad, figured I'd test it too. Took just a few readings and was satisfied it was halfway okay.
Middle depth: 6.5, 6.8, 6.3
Bottom: 6.2
I think it'll be okay.

---
Cleaned off the A8 and hit the big soil bin, as I just needed to be sure my soil stock was okay. It's alright, 6.2, 6.3, 6.2, 6.1.
---

Looks like just the Skywalker Kush is in the soil nightmare, and here's a theory. Either I, or the soil, didn't keep up with this particular plant's needs when it went into flowering. It pulled what it could, throwing off the balance and sending pH crazy all over. Exhausting that, now it's pulling leaves. The pH in the sick irony that it is, has locked out the nutes it needs and should be getting from the regular General Organics Bloom and everything else, due to the fact that it's pulled it all and screwed the pH.

So.. It's in surprisingly good health, new growth looks good, buds look like junk but whatever. I think it could survive a very serious flush with maybe some dolomite pinched in for good measure after the first few gallons.
Thoughts or theories?
