Indoor Anthro's Perpetual Grow Vol 2, Organic, LED, Autos, Fun!

Harvested one Mephisto Fantasmo Express lady today. Great amount on here considering I'd put almost nothing into it. She received just two or three feedings with General Organics GO box goodies and Humbolt Equilibrium (organic cal-mag), one organic AACT compost tea, and just water otherwise. So it's mostly just been running from my super packed organic soil mix!

It never showed any deficiencies and performed very well like all Mephisto's do! Good height of about 2 feet, amazing cola, great trichome production, good smells, and beautiful rock hard solid flower nugs. No real popcorn buds down below, just a couple trimmed off flowers at the very base, otherwise decent nugs everywhere else.

There might be about 8-12 grams on there, but as we all know, the rock solid nugs that form like these did are hard to estimate the weight of with any accuracy.

Yummy peeks:

The cola all trimmed up. Thing is a nice weight and solid mass. I'm impressed!

Overall I've been very impressed with this strain! These were even freebies with an order from Seedsman seedbank, and have been really FUN to grow and watch.

Allllrightey then! Finally chopped the last two ladies from the last round: a DP BBK and a Mephisto FE. They went longer than planned but turned out just right!

Trimmed and chopped. Had to do it in three sections! Probably a good 1/4 oz of primo organic herb there!

Trimmed and chopped, in two parts. It visually looks like less in the pics, but the buds are seriously dense and heavy. I think it could be a half oz on there, maybe .4oz of premium Sativa auto!

Dense and delicious cola! Couldn't get any amber trichomes on this one even going way long, but Sati Dom autos don't hardly ever amber up.

Okay so that round is wrapped up. Will update on the babies soon, they're doing great!

Here's da babies!! All pretty healthy, they are droopy at the moment as it had been many days since feeding, but just got fed and will be as perky as Emma Watson's tatas by morning haha!

Barney's Farm, Tangerine Dream photoperiod, the smallest little runt, it had trouble early on being stuck to her shell, but is doing fine now.

Sweet Seeds, Red Poison auto, still a little yellow, but my Red Poisons start off yellow often and grow out of it. Strange. It's getting plenty of food, and the organic soil is loaded, pH is fine, so it's just one of those mysteries. Healthy otherwise.

+
Mephisto, Sour Crack auto, the biggest yet, this is one with about 50/50 coco/organic soil mix, and I can tell she's going all out balls-to-the-wall and is gonna rock! Let's hope for a monster for once haha! Verrry healthy. In fact I could almost wish for a little more stretch, and the lights are 2 feet up!

Ah, my beloved Reserva Privada, Skywalker Kush photoperiod. Not much to say yet, kinda just coming along.

Delicious Seeds, Crit Super Silver Haze photoperiod. This is the one that I suspected might have had a virus, it was all crinkled and crumpled. Decided I'd wait and see if it grew out of it, and it might be! Still unsure...but looking halfway alright at the moment. Can see the older leaves all jacked up but the newer ones looking better.

All for now!

This round is coming along just fine, already noticing differences in size with the ones which got coco coir blended in with the soil. The ones that got a coco blend are already bigger, leafier, more branches, and thicker stalks! This is still halfway early too!

Probably going to switch to 12/12 soon, which is early I know, but I'm tying to keep the photoperiods halfway managable in size. After lights and filter, I have really only 4 feet of height, then of course a foot of container, so I can really only afford 3 feet / 1 Metre of plant with this current tent. Fine for autos, but with photos some allowances have to be made. I considered topping the photoperiods, but this time I'd like to just run them naturally to build up some experience and confidence with photos. The one time I went topping and LST crazy with a photo was a disaster lol.

Here's the latest update! All are doing well, the two autos haven't wasted any time getting flowers ready, and the photoperiods are a couple days into 12/12 and should start throwing out flowers in a week or so. Yeah it's early for 12/12, but I'm aiming for small and controllable plants this round.

This is the Delicious Seeds brand Critical Super Silver Haze:
looking very lush and bushy!

Reserva Privada brand Skywalker Kush:
It's got some node stretch but is also making good leaves and branches.

Barney's Farm brand Tangerine Dream:
Not really expecting anything miraculous from this one, it's clear this strain should've been vegged for a couple months to build itself up before 12/12, but oh well!

Sweet Seeds brand Red Poison:
Looking like a Red Poison! Wasted no time prepping flowers and early colors! This lady is going to be a deep colorful one, for sure.

Mephisto brand Sour Crack:
She's def winning the flowering award so far, lots of fluffy bud sites already rocking, and some good size on this one too.

That's all for now! Peace and love

Update Time again peeps! The ladies are doing great, been about a week and a couple days into 12/12 lighting, the autos aren't too thrilled with it but are doing fine just small. The photoperiods are looking pretty good, well two are and one is looking stupid lol. Been giving them lots of food this round, just about with every watering which was about once a week but is starting to ramp up closer to twice a week as they're getting hungrier, thirstier, and temps picking up so more perspiration/evaporation.

Feeding with: filtered well water and rainwater, the full range of General Organics organic liquid supplements from the GO Box, VivaStrap premium powdered blackstrap molasses about 2 tsp / 3L, powdered Azomite mineral rock dust about 1.5 tsp / 3L, Canna Rhizotonic at 5~6ml / 3L, Humboldt Nutrients Equilibrium (strong organic CalMag), a pinch of yucca root powder, and occasionally a pinch of Great White Myco.
------
Mephisto brand Sour Crack is the better looking of the two autos, although will be forever smaller than possible because of the 12/12 instead of 18/6 autos prefer:

+
Sweet Seeds brand Red Poison not looking really spectacular, I don't think this one likes the 12/12 at all, and was very hungry and thirsty when I fed today, so they all kinda look a little limp for the moment:
RA8WSMq.jpg

+
Reserva Privada brand Skywalker Kush doing okay, nothing award winning lol, but it's healthy though.
IYSdLeM.jpg

+
Barney's Farm brand Tangerine Dream is just kinda sad and stupid looking lol. It's like "Durrr durrrr durr, which way did he go george" haha! I don't know... it maybe should've been vegged longer, something. If it just makes a few pathetic nugs of citrusy delight, I'll be happy enough, it's a freebie bean anyway. I won't be running out to buy any of these beans in the future.

Now this one is the best looking of the lot! Mega bushy and branches gone wild!
Delicious Seeds brand Critical Super Silver Haze. It's also the first and only yet photoperiod showing pistils! This was also the one who had a rough start with what I thought was a viral infection, but it's stormed through it like a trooper! Glad I didn't cull it.
The pics don't do it justice for how it looks in real life 3 dimensions, it's really filling out the pot already.

and the first pistils yay

------
That's it for now ladies and gents!

Quick update, all the ladies got my super mega organic topdressing today. I like to do it about 1/3 the way through the grow, I've pushed it on em early before and it can stress them out if they're not mature enough to handle it. Remember, with organics, it is very difficult to actually burn the plants, but you can stress em out and still kill a couple leaves if you're not careful.
----
Okay so, I've written this all before a couple/few times but here's how I topdress when I think they're ready. Now this is just what I do, doesn't mean it's the best way or even the right way lol. It works for me though and the plants seem to dig it. So, about 1/3 into the grow, about when flowers are starting up, and not on a feeding day at the same time. (When done, I do water it in with just plain water or maybe just water with a dash of CalMag, no food.)

Get the goodies ready, and I use a plastic spoon and plastic fork to work the goodies with. I use a plastic spoon about teaspoon size, and scoop the amendment out then go around the base of each plant, while lightly tapping on the spoon so the contents are gently and evenly spread around in a circle.

AQKfsvs.jpg

It'll look about like that.

I use just whatever I have on hand and it changes a little but not much. I topdress EACH plant with:
  • 1 tsp (teaspoon) Azomite rock granules
  • 1 tsp Azomite rock dust
  • 1 tsp Gypsum rock dust
  • 1 tsp lignite
  • 1 tsp epsom salt
  • 1 pinch of iron chelate (probably like 1/10 tsp, not much)
  • 1/2 tsp powdered seaweed
  • 1/4 tsp Cottonseed meal
  • 2 heaping tsp of greensand
  • 1 pinch of blood meal
  • 1 pinch of bone meal
  • 1 tsp of Mykos mychorizae granules
  • 1 pinch of kelp meal
  • 2 heaping tsp of earthworm compost
  • 1 tsp of powdered molasses
hFfnI9G.jpg

Then I take the plastic fork and break up the top soil and mix it in, mix it around, mix mix mix!

LygwF6f.jpg

Now's a good time to top off the pot with soil, you've probably got a little compaction going on by now and some fresh soil on top will help. Plus you want to get back to the bowl shape in your top soil. So add a couple scoops of soil or whatever it needs.

oizxVVD.jpg

Beautiful, right? Yeah right... lol. Now you should take the soil and form a bowl shape such that the edge of the pot's soil is higher up to the edge, this'll help significantly with watering!

drmchQq.jpg

Done as dinner! Well actually, if using powdered stuff, I almost always end up with some on the leaves. So I spray off the lower leaves! Then just water all the plants and now done as dinner! All for now, peace and love.
