good advice hugo....

yes I think Muddy was right on this ... p and maybe a little magnesium too...
be warned tho.... even corrected as stunted as this is at this phase... you likely wont see the results of correction...
those kind of deficinecies only clear out on new growth.... old growth will keep it even after its fixed...

hope this helps

Gtron, was just talking via PM with someone who was using the EJ nutes. She switched off the EJ nutes with here current grow and is seeing a massive difference in her plants. You might want to think about giving something else a try on your next grow.

this caught my attention too... general nutes usually arent very good for growing much of anything... most plants require specific nutes at specific phases.... better to target those on point.... try starting with some fox farm line (Grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom) we can walk you right through those... and heres a chart from FD for that line so you have a general guideline to run by:
fd... WHEN YOU SAY HIGH FERT SCHEDULE... WHAT ARE WE TALKIN HERE? WHAT STRNGTH AND HOW OFTEN? (REALLY STILL TRYIN TO GET A HANDLE ON THIS CRAZY-REDUCED FERT SCHED FOR AUTOS... STILL ADJUSTING!)
what i mean is that not all autos are the same lol
I have been growing the same genetic line for over a year now
and they all seem like they really like my fert schedule.

This is what i doi break it down as follows

First off let me talk about what i use as ferts. I have a 4 part system that i use and most of this is in the brain so please bare with me as i share this one.

I use FF grow big (hydro formula) Tiger Bloom and then two tea variations. One is high in N for veg and the other is high in Phosphorus when its time to flower.
I apply these through out the grow. I use the FF to get it started.
then i move to the teas and then back to the FF and then back to the teas

So i break it down like this:
FF GB is 3Tbsp/1Gal for heavy feedings. So in my mind this is more than enough for our fave friends. So it states that 2tbsp/1gal is for normal feedings so i use this as my base number. After that i break it down into 1/4

at 7 days i start like this
Day 7 1/4 dose to a gal
Day 14 1/2 dose to a gal + 8oz of N rated tea
Day 21 1tsp GB and then 1/4 of TB (bringing in the TB)
Day 28 1/2 TB + 8oz of Phosphorus rated tea
Day 35 1.5 tsp TB to a gal
Day 41 2tsp of TB and 8oz of Phosphorus rated tea
Then Flush till finish unless it needs something at the end.

I think that this is everything that i do like i said i am not sure as this is all in my head. If the plants demand more that i give more this is just something to go by. I usually do not swap in clean water feedings at all over the fert program. I just use the jug then its gone. Now if i start to see over feeding or lockouts ill flush.
But if i keep my water on point i never usually see a lock out or toxicity.

Hope this helps

gtron..coming in late on this one..the only thing that Normally stunts my girls is over ferting or compo that is too hot..

Medium is Sunshine #4
Nutes are going to be EarthJuice.

Can I ask what is in the Sunshine #4..and is that the starter soil you used..?

coz that JEM is in problems right from the start of the grow...
rather than something you added later..

Your temps are not out of her range at all

#1 is knackered here..and #3 is bad too..#2 doesn't look bad..but small..and a bit lax.

So something between germ and day 14 has already screwed them up..we just have to figure out what.

Do you have a photo of the info Panel on your compo...?

Also..thinking backwards..how old were the genetics..and how were they stored.

Sound like a lot to answer bro..but if we can Tick some of the common causes oof..we might get down to the Problem.

BTW..are they White pheons out of the Original JEM..or White JEM by FullDuplex..?

Here is the info on the Sunshine Advanced #4 (which is what I used at Muddy's recommendation as a good alternative to Promix)
pH 5.5 – 6.5 (mine was right at 6.3)
Soluble salts – 0.50 – 1.0 mmhos/cm
Nitrate N – 10 – 25 ppm
Phosphorus – 1 – 5 ppm
Potassium – 10 – 60 ppm
Calcium – 30 – 60 ppm
Magnesium – 10 – 25 ppm

Here is a link to their technical page (which upon further review recommends starting your fertilizing program after 7 days, so I could have missed the window on that)

I ordered the seeds from AFN in Oct 11, I believe they are the White JEM by FD
soo genetics are ??? and age was roughly 6 or 7 months when planted. (a side note to this, My first auto grow which was a disaster due to poor soil choice, the two JEMS that survived the soil and getting drenched in a squall right after the sprouted looked similar to the WJ1, but even smaller) ( I chalked that up to the soil, rain, and my lack of experience at the time.
The are stored inside of a cool dry cabinet in an airtight test tube.

As for the Earth Juice Nutes, perhaps I was misunderstood.
They are not general nutes, and I am using their full line of Nutes with a slightly altered schedule than what was recommended for Photos.
I chose to use them as the are supposedly completely organic.
I started them off at a about 1/3 strength at about day 17 and increased them slowly to be on full strength schedule by day 35.

Here is the schedule I used starting in week 3 at 1/3 strength increasing to full strength in week 5 (no additional nutes before week 3, only ph'd to 6.3 H2O)

Here is a link to the article that explains the various EJ products

https://www.autoflower.org/f26/nute-comparison-results-costs-7588.html

I am not committed to using EJ by any means and I have the FF trio which worked fine on the photo I grew,
I would just prefer to use organic if I can and I simply do not have the experience or space to accommodate making my own.

Bottom line, I want to use what works reasonably well, is reasonably simple to use, and is reasonably priced.

Also an additional note to those looking in, I always label my pics by plant & age so the ugly duckling is WJ1 in this thread Diminutive princess is WJ2 .........

I'm impressed.

+rep for that last thread gtron.

I don't see anything wrong with your setup and doings. Perhaps it was just this batch of this strain, perhaps not. In example, I'm having some bad experience with Auto-Blueberry from Dutch Passion and I know it's a good strain, because of the word-of-mouth (everybody loves it!).

You know what? You said it right when you said you wanted to learn as much as you can from growing this till the end. Experiment and god-speed! :)

Nope..nor can I...
I wondered about the compo..but it is Muddy recommended so I know it will be sound..

Nothing about your ferts @ day 17 done it..those girls were buggered before day 14..

Stored correct..temps seem fine..

gotta be the seed gtron...

Unfortunately..we have no white JEM to replace them with..and no JEM atm..
so if there is anything in my catalogue you would like as replacements let me know..

If not we will credit you until JEM becomes available again...:wiz:
