I have been looking at the AN product line.
They have a ton of stuff.
It makes it harder for beginners to figure out.
They have a hobbyist package but I think that is in addition to the base Sensi-Grow & Sensi-bloom I would need?
For someone that has used the AN products what do you recommend?

Jackal is our resident AN nute expert. Check his thread for more info. https://www.autoflower.org/f26/advanced-nutrients-ph-perfect-3455.html. I'm using the pH Perfect Sensi A and B, B-52 for a little extra N via the kelp, and Overdrive for some additional P in late flowering. So far the results have been very good, much better than the FF and GO I've used in the past.

@ Hugo. Thanks for your fine input. I don't have your technical knowledge and most of what I know is from observing a lot of grows over the years and seeing what works and what doesn't. I agree on the foliar feeding, especially molasses. I only resort to foliar feeds when all else seems to have failed.

Most of it is from learning from other people better than me... their experiences and know-how.

I lack all the experience that separates a good grower from a noob (that's me :). I think the most important thing is the ability to sence and adapt to the plant needs, and that, obviously, requires experience. So thank you very much for the compliment, it means alot :D

PS - I just want to have a bigger avatar! ahah!!

And thank you for the generous offer Mossy!
I am looking for a nice Indica dom auto. If you have anything in the catalogue (or off catalogue) that fits that, it would be fine.
Just send me an private message if you need to confirm anything

I have a nice Magic...off catalogue for now..just me and a couple of lucky people having a Look-see at her...so she would be something Unusual

or..

The Red selection Duurtyf2's...

mail me your dets...

Hey Muddy,
I am just trying make sure I am clear about this.
Are you using the Sensi-Grow A & B with the B52 for veg , AND the Sensi-Bloom A & B with Overdrive for flower?
Or ???
From reading their website, That is what I would be inclined to do myself, But the website seems to advise getting the Sensi-Bloom or Connoiesseur-Bloom with the additives, {which is a little confusing to me)

I think I will give them a call tomorrow

Yes, that's what I'm doing. I don't have the bottles in front of my now but they recommend B-52 during the whole veg cycle and a couple weeks in flower, and the Overdrive for the last two weeks of flowering before flushing if I remember correctly. So in that case, they would have to be used in conjunction with the Sensi.

Jackal also advices Sensi Grow and Bloom, so... I stand corrected :) but really an pH perfect product should be better than what you have now.

Pic UpDate Day 57 & Day 22

Well, the stunted JEM's @ Day 57 aren't doing much and don't seem to be responding to anything I do. I am going to keep them going most likely until at least Day 70, Might as well try to get some strong smoke from what is there.

The KVS however, did respond well to a heavier feeding and an addition of K.
And @ Day 22 she is looking much better to me. I am expecting pistils to start showing in the next few days.

Porn Below-Look close at the KVS and you can see 2 lady bugs standing guard, they wont let any nasties around my girls!

PS: Mossy Your box is full, so I couldn't reply to your last PM, But I will be watching!

PPS: I have ordered some AN phPerfect Sensi-Grow, Sensi-Bloom, B52, & OverDrive. So I will have that on hand for the next batch of seedlings.
After a very frank conversation with an EJ distributor, I decided I am going to finish out this grow with the EJ nutes with the additional K I have.
That conversation brought a few things to light. One being the ph adjustment issue. He did NOT recommend ignoring ph. His viewpoint was that if after adding the nutes to your H2O the ph was low, you should bring it up to at least 5.5. He said he had seen many soil & soil-less grows form people not ph'ing that looked fine & smoked fine, but he had seen plenty that suffered. So why risk it, it isn't like ph'ing is a big deal. I agree. He agreed with Hugo that baking soda was not the best idea for bring up my ph and advised me to get a good ph up product, especially if I was committed to using organics as they tend to drive the ph down.
Another thing he mentioned is that with organics, fresh mixed is considered "mixed AND aerated for 24 hours". He said that really without that 24 hour aeration, you will not get proper chelation of the compounds and thus less nutrients to the plant.
And then lastly, he stressed making sure your product has not expired. Many retailers, especially online sellers, will sell expired product. He advised against using expired nutes on your valuable crop.

Pic UpDate Day 63 and Day 28
The stunted White JEM's are mostly all milky with some clear trichs.
Since these are so small I am going to wait until I see a significant number amber trichs. I am guessing another week.

The KVS has recovered nicely and I think she looks pretty good.
She is showing preflowers and is growing quite a bit every day.
I think the issue she had was underfed and a lack of K.

So here is the porn on this beautiful Memorial Day!
