Ph problems
Pic Update Day 54
So the rep for EJ lied, didn't know what the hell she was talking about or doesn't understand the sensitivity of autos.
She was adamant that if I were growing in a soil-less medium that I would not need to ph up the feed. So I decided to see what would happen without doing any ph-ing and tweak things if I saw any trouble.
Of course the KVS decided to wait to tell me that she did not appreciate the EJ reps opinion until I was so busy I couldn't fuss over her much. The 89-91 degree temps have not helped matters either. But I don't think that is a significant issue.
Anyway about 4 days ago I pulled her out from under the LED and saw that the ph problem was worse than I thought it was 7 days ago
Checked with my Accurate 8 and the soil-less ph was just under 4!
So I mixed my feed, adjusted the ph up to 6.4, double checked it with my Hanna and added two teaspoons of powdered garden lime to slowly bring the ph of the soil-less medium back up.
Measuring with the Accurate 8 again today soil-less medium is right at 6.
I am thinking about just abandoning the EJ nutes and switch over to the ph perfect Sensi nutes, but I am concerned about the best way to go about it.
Should I just switch? Give her a light flush and then switch?
I have the S-Grow, S-Bloom, B-52, Overdrive, and then samples of Big Bud, Bud Candy, Nirvana, and Final Phase.
Of course I may just go get some PH up and finish out with the EJ, but I like to think out my options.
My very busy life is about to kick into a higher gear any day now, so I am trying to make a decision on this that I can just deal with.
Ohyeah, my decision for the next grow is 5 Onyx seeds in my friends grow box and 5 MI5 in mine. If we both get 2 females each in each box we will be happy. I plan on starting separate threads for those grows.
Twisted porn below, comments appreciated!
