Hello AFN..... over the next little bit i will be bringing you the PAR readings from both the SE450UVB and the SE250 in a 3x3 space. The heights will be 18, 24, and 36 inches and will be done with and without lenses at all heights on both panels.
I wanted to show some real world numbers. Often times we see different brands claiming different readings but these will come from a non biased first hand source.
Also after this is completed it will give folks just buying their new amare a good idea what height to hang their panel and when... such as in veg for seedlings running the mono only
Today we start with the SE450UVB with No lenses... i didnt take pics of all measurments at all heights but i give you all the A-Train gurantee that these are true numbers not fudged a bit.
Heres what ill be using. The Apogee quantum flux PAR meter.
Heres how the measurments were taken...
And heres how the heights are detirmined...
And here are the first set of readings...

suprised how little par drops as you raise the lights impressive numbers even at 36 inches
