Just a little update before I head back to work and hand the grow back over to Mrs. Steel. All the girls seem to being doing well. The moonstones are starting to get frosty and smell exceptional. Plant #1 gained some more height in the last week and is now 20" tall. Plant #2 is still at 13" but seems to be a week a head of plant #1 as far as flowering goes. I am going to try and push the nutes a little more. I had backed off just a bit in the last week due to burning just the tips of the fan leaves. Only backed down .5ml on base nutes but didn't add my overdrive and Bud Factor X like I was planning. So starting Friday we will add in the Overdrive and BFX and be back on track with TaNgs Advanced Nutrient schedule. Hopefully this will pack on some more weight and these girls will fatten up over the next 20 days. I am hoping the Moonstones will go 80 days, that way I will be back from work and be able to help with our first harvest.
The Y.D.B. is also doing well. I don't really know what else to say about her. She is completely the opposite of the moonstones, so its been great to have these two different strains going at the same time just to be able to see the difference in growth patterns. It will be interesting to compare the difference in yields between these two totally different strains. Will I get more off the shorter more compact moonstones? Or the tall leggy open structure of the YDB? What do you all think? Well time for some pics.
Questions, comments, and advice is always appreciated. Thanks for following along with this great learning experience.
Plant #1, 20 inches tall
Plant #2, 13 inches tall
Yoda's Dragons Breath, 34 inches tall
I need to take photography lessons from Trapper.....:niceshot:
I think it has alot to do with pot size. The smaller of the two is in a 1 gallon smart pot, the taller one is in a 2 gallon. But I do believe in general they are a shorter more compact plant. Check out autoflower-portal.net. Check out the gift shop. Stone has a great 420 sale going on. Thanks for checking out the grow and enjoy you R&R.
