I turned on the rez 5 days ago.

So I'm at day 30.. running two 4 gal autopots. The plants are starting to preflower and seem to be about done stretching.. the res has about 3 gallons left in it. Im sure that 3 gals will last more than a week or so. My question is this... Should I..

1.let the res empty of its own, then refill it using a bloom mix?

2. Empty it out and refill it with it with a light bloom mix?

3. Add a bloom mix to what's already in the rest?

or 4. You've got a better idea for me!

Been on the rez for a while now. Mixed up five gal. worth of DutchPro for it last night. It’s starting to get exciting now.

I would empty rez and clean it. Then add the bloom mix at recommend dosage.

I purposely did NOT do a lot or research on these. May not5 be such a good idea, but it is how I decided to go. I plan on cleaning the reservoir when I switch to bloom.

I'd let it empty on it's own or top it off with a little bloom in a couple of gallons of water. But I tend to play things pretty laid back.

I know you have already decided but thought I would throw in my two cents. First off, I have not cleaned my rez since I started using MC back around the first of July. When it’s time to switch to bloom I mix up a fresh batch and add it to whatever is already in there. It’s like a cross over dose, part veg / part bloom.

That is the same as what I do. Just let res get down toward the bottom and top off with new ratio of nutes.
