I told you back when we first talked about this that I was gonna try your technique for myself and now I feel that I am ready... This girl is on her way to the chop shop... Day 85 for the Blue Toof Special!?!?!? Almost a month past supposed harvest date... Not disappointed at all though!!!

Coco on the bottom?

I'm using a blend of soil and coco. I run my res at ph 6.5. I also use a ph of 6.5 when running coco. I've found I have no ph related issues when running at this ph.

Thank you. I'll run straight coco. This helps very much.

Ok I'm at day 26 MBAP, Northernlights and Trainwreck and day 6 for Tangie. I've started some leaf tucking and clothespin lst.

I believe @pop22 uses a mix of 70 soil/ 30 coco in his pots. I'm using plain coco in my pots and don't use any hydroton clay pebbles at the bottom.

I use 2-1 soil/perlite with no hydroton on the bottom. I gave up using coco after my last grow. Very happy with the result I’m getting with this mix.

Mixed in with the soil. the coco gives better air retention and the soil has a high CEC, nutrient holding capacity.

So one thing I've noticed since sswitching from hand watering to the autopot system, is that the humidity in my space is a lot higher. I usually hover around 30% without the humidifier on. With auto pots and the constant saturation, the rh is around 50% without the humidifier on. By the time I get into flower I may have to find ways to lower it. But its nice to have that 50% right now!
